About 20 years ago, I was here in a chapel, leading worship for a conference. It was a last-minute ask for me to step up from the worship team to lead, and let me tell you, it was a divine encounter like no other. An angel named Michael came and played for me while I led worship—it was phenomenal! I’ve shared that story in the show notes, so be sure to check it out. For the past couple of months, I’ve been asking God where we should celebrate this milestone, and He drew me here, to the top of Mount Tabor. What an honor it is to stand where so many have encountered the love of God before me! I have my trusty book with me—written by Gloria Copeland, it tells the incredible story of John G. Lake. Yesterday I was stretching the tent, pegs of podcast networking, and I stumbled upon a fellow podcaster (link Below) and someone I follow on Instagram. They discussed how AI, artificial intelligence—I can say that again, artificial intelligence—has benefited and distracted the music and arts community. It's a fascinating episode. I left all the links in the show notes. I'm gonna say that again, because I have built you a wealth of information in the show notes on this episode. The episode that I heard got me thinking, and then later in the afternoon I had babysat my granddaughter all day, and I was having a conversation with my daughter-in-law, keeping up, you know, with technology and thinking about my granddaughter Li's generation. Oh my goodness! So I had to look up—they're called Generation Z, which goes from 1995 to the present. These are babies born from 1995 onward, and when you think about it, they are growing up in a world where the Internet is as essential as air. They are called Generation Z, the high generation, the post-millennial, and these digital natives have never known a world without Google or social media. I know that just blows my mind. They will never know a world without Google or social media. It's fascinating to think of the spiritual, entrepreneurial, and technological possibilities this opens up, isn't it? Just their generation connects to the world—the physical, the digital—so it's us, you and I, to guide them and then learn from them to blend the wisdom of experience along with their tech-savvy insight. It's gonna be a dance, I tell you; we all need to grow together. You might say, what does a little artificial intelligence and AI have to do with you? Completed by Ange-Jacques Gabriel in 1768, the new palace on the Trianon estate was named the Petit Trianon to distinguish it from the existing Marble Trianon, which then became known as the Grand Trianon. It was here, in April 1774, that Louis XV experienced the first symptoms of smallpox, which would lead to his death a few days later and usher in the reign of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette. It's like having a divine Alexa or Siri, ready to offer comfort and advice at a moment's notice. But this tech-spirituality crossover isn't without its complexities. It's like walking a tightrope - on one side, the potential of AI to provide solace in a click; on the other, the ethical tight spots of bringing machines into our sacred spaces. Can a programmed entity truly offer spiritual counsel? And what does this mean for the human connection that is often so integral to religious practices? As we navigate these uncharted waters, these questions become our compass, guiding our exploration into the merging of the spiritual and the digital. It's a conversation that's not just about religion, but about the role of technology in our moral and emotional lives. It's about how we can use these tools to not just live, but to live well. Not surprisingly, the “AI Jesus” that recently finished a run conversing with visitors in a church confessional booth has been called both. Aljosa Smolic, one of the technologists behind the avatar, expected as much when he began work on a chatty Jesus powered by artificial intelligence. Is the TV constantly on in your home? When you are alone, does your phone get your attention? If I asked you to look in your phone settings at screen time, what is your daily average? According to recent data, the average person spends around 2 hours and 23 minutes on social media daily. What would you do with an extra 2 hours and 23 minutes a day? I think we can all agree we can be better stewards of our time, amen. A few time-blocking hints. Set a do not disturb schedule on your phone and choose which notifications come through. Most phones have a downtime selection; limit applications and notifications. Block out particular times of the day to answer emails, and the big one: those activities that move the needle towards your dreams. For me, it's writing. My dad allowed me to wander around the store while he browsed items that caught his interest. When I approached him to ask if he could buy me the cassette, he declined, saying it was too expensive. To be honest, it was around 20 bucks at the time, and I insisted that I had many at home and that they were worthless. I felt so upset, unable to accept that I wouldn't get to enjoy Mickey and Minnie in the comfort of my own home.
So, I devised a plan to convince my dad to buy the cassette. I cleverly hid it under my shirt, feeling like a naughty little boy, and attempted to walk out of the store. I thought that once we got home, I could enjoy the cassette without needing my dad's permission. However, I didn't realize that the store had an alarm system.
As I approached the exit, I noticed a security guard chatting with a nice lady, who didn’t pay attention to me. I thought I could slip out unnoticed. But as soon as I walked past the exit, the alarm began to blare. I turned to see the security guard looking straight at me, and in that moment, I knew I had to run.
I took off, and as I was sprinting, I caught sight of my dad in the distance, wondering where I had gone. Unfortunately, he soon realized what was happening and brought me back to the store. He was embarrassed to discover that his five-year-old son had tried to steal something.
I recently remembered this story and can't help but laugh at how I managed to pull something like that off at such a young age. That was the only time in my life I attempted to steal, and although I didn't succeed, the thought of it still makes me chuckle.

This isn’t just a catchy phrase—it’s a roadmap for living authentically, inspired by divine love. Picture it as a spiritual GPS guiding you through life’s bustling highways and serene backroads.
Align
First, we align. Think of it like tuning a musical instrument. Just as a guitar needs to be in tune to produce harmonious melodies, we need to align with our true selves and the loving kindness of God.
Imagine waking up each morning and checking in with your internal compass. Are you heading in the direction of your true self, or have you veered off course?
If you find that you are Out of Tune in your attitudes step into His loving kindness,
Have communion with Him and offer that sour note to Him, receive harmony
if you feel unappreciated, talk to God authentically, tell Him how you feel and why.
Spend a few moments in quiet reflection, allowing your heart and mind to align with divine wisdom.
Commit Compassion

Back to my morning. Here I am. I'm in the kitchen. I'm getting ready for the day. The coffee is dripping. I'm feeding – I pop a piece of bread into the toaster, and I grab the honey from the cabinet. I made Don's coffee in his to-go container. I grabbed my favourite coffee mug. It's sitting on the counter, and I set out a small saucer for toast and fruit. My flow and multitasking, it's timed and impressive. I'm getting it down. We're gonna get there, get the podcast done for the day, and the toast pops up, fragrant and inviting. I hurry while the toast is hot. I have my knife in hand and the lid on the butter dish, so I lift it up and reach for that perfect pad of fresh, creamy butter. I am the one who messed up this morning. It was my night. There was a bunch of string in Don's coffee, and when I set it on the saucer, yuck, so I was the guilty party. I smashed the butter. It's totally in our lives, defamed the butter. What is our perspective of the small things, the irritating things, and sensitive of others in the things I have lived with? At the same time, I have seen some insensitivity. Maybe you're the one that when you were in a hurry, did you clean it up for the next person? Are you ready for metaphorical perspectives? And we're gonna have a jolly laugh too. Thank you so much.

As we move forward, I want to infuse a lighthearted metaphor involving a butter dish to delve into the heart of today’s message. Remember, He speaks to us today, and I’ve been waiting for His guidance for both you and me. Jesus will breathe life into our discussion, allowing us to appreciate the richness we already possess.
So, grab your cup of coffee, hold onto that steering wheel, or slow your walking pace and take a breath. We’re going to share a meal with the Master today. The butter dish serves as a metaphor—allow the Lord to reveal its significance and apply it to your own life. Let’s think about how we sometimes find ourselves caught up in the remnants of someone else’s mess, much like butter smeared with crumbs.
In Luke 24, we witness two disciples walking just eight miles from Jerusalem, deeply engaged in a profound discussion as they try to make sense of the extraordinary events they’ve just experienced. They’re sifting through the leftover "crumbs" of their memories from a shocking week, seeking clarity amid their confusion. Suddenly, Jesus joins them as an unexpected guest at the table, yet their eyes remain clouded with disbelief, preventing them from recognizing Him.

Jesus replied, So, what exactly happened? They both answered, The man Jesus of Nazareth was a prophet who was known for his mighty works and words before God and all the people.
Well, the high priests and our rulers betrayed him and sentenced him to death; then crucified him.
We had such high hopes that he was about to redeem Israel. Yet now, it is already the third day since it all happened. In the meantime some of the women in our group astounded us. They were at the tomb very early this morning. His body wasn't there. Then they claimed to have seen a vision of two angels who said that he was alive. Some of our own group then also went to the tomb and found the grave empty, just as the women told us, but they did not see Jesus. He answered them, Why do you fail to understand and find it so difficult to believe the entire context of the prophetic conversation. Was their theme not always pointing to the inevitable sufferings of the Christ and the subsequent glory? He then took them on a journey through Scripture, beginning with Moses and throughout the prophets he pointed to himself, mirrored in their word. They were now getting close to the village they were heading for, but he appeared to be going further. But they would have nothing of it; they told him as forcefully as politely possible to spend the night at their dwelling. It was already evening and a late hour. He obliged and entered the village with them. This is how it happened, As soon as they reclined at the table, he took the bread, blessed it, broke it and was giving it to them. One of my favorite things as we enter into the holiday season is the bell ringer at the Salvation Army giving stand. You know that they're dressed up as Santa, I love that it's the spirit of celebration, festivities, the joy and the gratitude of sharing and creating moments with our families and our friends. I'll tell you a quick story as we're about ready to finish up. I really do love those little Salvation Army. I wanted to do that one time, and I did. So I signed up for the job, and I had my bell ringing station, and what did I do? I sang Christmas carols over and over and over and over again. It was wonderful, one of the best Christmas memories I have to share. And people came up to me and asked me, "Kristen, would you sing this carol?" or "Do you know this carol?" and I sang them and they sang with me. And they'd be holding their children, and they'd breathe and let the worries of the day just go away. It was so much fun. I trust this blessed you and your perspective. And what is so amazing, just because I kind of mushed the butter in the butter dish this morning, the simplest things, the simplest way that the Lord opens our hearts, so that we can see how full our lives are, how much he has infused us with love and how close it is. So give your mama, give somebody a hug today. Thank the Lord for goodness and graciousness and share the gratitude and perspectives that he showed you.

What would you do with with an extra 2 hours and 24 minutes each day?
- Be prepared for the journey at hand, Rest, healthy food, which translates as your fuel, and movement/exercise.
- Embrace the power of silence. If Jesus didn't go to the mountain to pray that day, He would have never known He was about to calm a storm or walk on water. He wouldn't have seen Nathaniel sitting by the tree. He spent time with His Father.
- Let your phone be an ally in your quest for focus. Use your phone to Carve out a sacred time each day when you engage the Do Not Disturb function. This simple habit not only reduces distractions but also transforms your relationship with time. It's particularly beneficial at night - good sleep is the foundation of a productive morning.
- Unveil the magic of single-mindedness.
- Every task you undertake deserves your undivided attention. There's a unique kind of wealth in momentum, in the blissful flow state. But it's an illusion to think you can focus on one task while juggling nine others. Approach your days with a realistic and mindful to-do list.

Consider the impact of those around you. What if your coworker neglects to ask how your day is going? It’s crucial to fill yourself with kindness and compassion during such moments. Remember the feeling of gripping the steering wheel, a reminder of connection with others as well as yourself. Maintain a positive outlook and uphold high expectations for yourself. Reflect on the importance of restoring fellowship with those around you. The Lord’s forgiveness has transformed our lives; think of the family and friends who may lack experience in these matters.
Is there someone in your life—perhaps a child, spouse, or coworker—whom you need to restore favor with? Love should be worn like a uniform, completing our shared journey with Jesus. Imagine the four hands on the wheel guiding us. Some people may need a second chance, and Jesus certainly did that for me.
Quickly restore those relationships. Let love be your uniform. Think practically: set a timer on your phone for when to go to bed or wake up. It’s so much easier to navigate life when you can visualize His hands on the wheel, guiding you every day. On those days when you feel you’ve done well, remember to affirm yourself. You might have had the chance to react negatively, but you held back, and that deserves recognition. It’s much easier to stay focused on our path when we can see His hands helping us along the way. What a joy that is!

Self-care can be any activity that strengthens you physically, emotionally, mentally, intellectually, or spiritually. The concept of taking control of your needs and making yourself a priority might be viewed as selfish,
but it is not. It leads to, Rejuvenation, Improved relationships, Reduced risk of illness, Better parenting,
Increased self-esteem.

Mount Tabor: Piano Playing Angel Michael
In May, 1920, John G. Lake moved to Portland, Oregon to start and oversee another Apostolic Church. During this time he had the following vision:
He could not sleep so he walked in the shadows of the tall trees in Mount Tabor Park.
“Through the park is a footpath coming down through the trees that leads out to the street where we live, and in my vision I was seemingly out in the street, at the foot of this footpath, and as I looked up in the park I was attracted by a quite brilliant light far up in the park. It was very slowly coming down the pathway to the street. I stood somewhat surprised, supposing it was some night man on some duty in the park, probably searching for something or somebody. As it approached I discovered that, instead, it was an angel presence, and the brilliance was an illumination surrounding him. He stood a few feet from me, and said to me, "I have come to answer your prayers. Come with me.” Credit: Portland Vision the birth of Healing Rooms.
I was part of the worship team, but things weren't quite coming together as planned. By the third day, my dear friend, the conference producer, approached me with a dilemma: the scheduled worship team for the next day couldn't make it. Would I step in? I agreed, but once alone, I turned to God and said, "I need your help." I rushed home to gather my music and notes, then returned to Portland the next day.
At Warner Pacific, there's a beautiful chapel, and I asked God to clear it out so I could focus and prepare before leading worship that evening. When I arrived, I discovered a young man in his late twenties playing the piano beautifully. He was incredibly talented! I stepped out of the sanctuary, thinking, "God, I need to get in there; can you move this guy along?" After waiting about 15 minutes, I peeked back in, but he was still there.
Realizing I knew every song he was playing, I started singing along, gradually moving closer and singing louder. After two or three songs together, I felt the Holy Spirit prompt me to ask him to join me for worship. I hesitated, thinking, "God, you want me to assess this person's holiness in moments and invite them to join the team? Are you serious?" Yet, I gathered my courage, asked his name, and discovered he was genuine and eager to help, filling in my own weaknesses in piano playing. His strength enhanced the worship experience, making it truly special.
That evening, Michael played beautifully, alongside the conference speakers' two daughters who joined the worship team. The atmosphere was uplifting; I could feel people connecting with the Lord's presence, and I felt incredibly supported.
However, after that conference set, I searched for Michael to thank him, but he was nowhere to be found. On the final night, during the last worship set, I scanned the audience and spotted him in the back row, smiling at me. Then, he vanished! Thank you, Jesus, for sending an angel to help and support me; it was simply wonderful.

I pondered my options and then realized that we lived only five or six blocks from the high school and the football field. Perfect! I quickly greeted my family, dropped my bags, and announced I had an errand to run. My son Jacob, a musician, looked up and asked, "Mom, where are you going?" I replied, "Just for a quick walk." He pointed out it was past 10 PM and insisted, "Let me grab my skateboard. I’m coming with you!"
We made our way to the football field, and to our delight, the chain-link fence was open. The community frequently used the running track, so I stepped inside. It was dark, so I turned off my flashlight and headed toward the 50-yard line, scanning the area for anyone else. I spotted a guy in the corner stretching—he appeared to be a runner.
I walked directly to the center of the field, while Jacob practiced some skateboard tricks nearby. It was quiet; Corvallis was asleep, with only a few lights on in the neighborhood. Taking a deep breath, I shouted "Wakey wakey wakey!" as loud as I could three times. I paused, waiting amidst the background snoring. After a minute and a half, I felt a tingle at the back of my neck.
Suddenly, I envisioned a tall figure by the football stands—a samurai-like guardian in armor, with his hand on his sheathed sword. He stepped into my view, and I couldn't help but ask for his name. To my surprise, he responded with a name that reflected the very essence of his armor! Caisson. Then, just like that, he vanished.
I was ecstatic! I loved the experience and felt a deep connection to it. "Thank God he didn’t have his sword drawn" I thought, as he looked at me with curiosity. My heart soared as I realized I had encountered these magnificent guardian angels in Corvallis, Oregon.

With the Lord guiding my words, I'm excited about what we have to explore and learn together—amen! I truly need your support, your prayers, and a bit of patience as I try a new approach to enhance my impromptu speaking skills. This means I'm not fully scripting the episode; instead, I'm speaking more spontaneously, as if we were sitting across from each other, enjoying a lovely glass of Bordeaux. My goal is to develop my life skills and become a better communicator with you. God, help us to delve into the nuggets of wisdom and strength you have provided us right here and now in our listening. | Let me share a story from the past week. My son and daughter-in-law asked if I could look after my granddaughter one to two days each week. It's such an honor, and their generosity truly touched me. However, it made me reflect on my busy schedule and how I would manage this. Remembering my days as a young parent, I recall having four sons, and much of that time feels like a blur. I wonder what I can bring into their home, knowing that the experiences will be a two-way exchange between my granddaughter and me. With a full day ahead, I find myself seeking guidance on how to get organized and create more time this morning. |
In addition to the letters that spell "CHANGE," there is a square image resembling a diamond, featuring an Asian woman carrying an enormous load wrapped in mesh. The weight is so substantial that her head is obscured, symbolizing the burdens of her work and harvest as she walks down the road. I can feel this change resting heavily on our shoulders, and I resonate with the overwhelming sensation it brings.
This image of strength and resilience reminds me that while God has equipped us to carry significant loads, we must ask ourselves if we are shouldering too much. Are we carrying excess weight? It’s essential to check in with our bodies: Are there areas of discomfort or tension? Holy Spirit, what does this signify? Are you sensing issues in your feet, knees, shoulders, neck, or head? Let’s listen closely.
As we navigate this season of change, we share our stories and find common ground among friends and family. We all aspire to improve and grow, and this is the message Jesus has shared with me.

1Six days before the Passover began, Jesus went back to Bethany, the town where he raised Lazarus from the dead. 2They had prepared a supper for Jesus. Looking at the different gospels, each presents a unique perspective. Jesus was aware of everything happening around Him and asked, 'Why are you troubling this woman? She has performed a beautiful act for me. The poor you will always have, but you will not always have me. By pouring this perfume on me, she has prepared my body for burial. Truly, I tell you, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be remembered in her honor.'
When I read this passage this morning, it struck me deeply and I felt the anointing wash over me. Mary prepared Jesus for His death, burial, and resurrection. Can you feel that? You and I are included in this story. I sensed the anointing oil and understood what Mary knew in her heart. She was preparing herself and all of us for future restoration and resurrection.
In this season of change, remember that in just one week, Jesus will carry the cross, endure mockery and pain, and then declare, 'It is finished.' He will breathe His last and spend three mystical days in the tomb, reclaiming the keys of the kingdom. Then God will raise Him, and He will pass those keys to us.
Mary’s act of anointing Jesus was an expression of worship, a sacrificial offering that filled the room with fragrance. Wherever you feel overwhelmed or find yourself in difficult circumstances, remember that we are wrapped in the preparation of Jesus and His offering. Where the gospel is preached, she will be remembered, and we step into that remembrance. Mary’s offering is where change meets us, inviting us into her legacy.

Imagine for a moment, you're standing at the edge of a vast ocean, the waves lapping at your feet. This ocean represents the extravagant dimensions of grace. That is a tropical ocean, in my book, warm, inviting hues of blue-greens.
Our ocean of grace wraps around each of us, regardless of our past performance or perceived shortcomings.
Just like the ocean has no favorites, and holds the largest and smallest of living beings, this grace extends equally to all, offering us a sanctuary where we find divine comfort, assurance and our original and likable self. I can't wait to share it with you.

Zayin: in communion, the living letter Zayin responded "as" the Lord. I offered up "self protective mechanisms" (BEHAVIORS) and they were consumed in the "Letter" as Him!
We experience our "Crown" many different ways, on our journey of knowing our redeemed original self, you truest identity, likes, colors and themes bring a "Comfort" from there familiarity "Like You."

Gimel might remind you of the importance of generosity, nurturing the soul through acts of kindness. Daleth, on the other hand, speaks to moments of humility, those times when we feel low and need to seek strength from a higher source.
Let's not forget He, a letter that breathes life into our dreams, urging us to walk in faith and trust the process. It's like planting seeds in a garden; you nurture them with care, trusting that in time, they’ll flourish.
Each stanza of Psalm 119 is not just poetry but a call to action. It’s a reminder that spiritual principles are not abstract concepts; they're practical tools. Like a seasoned entrepreneur using a business plan, these verses encourage us to apply these principles daily. Reflect on them, meditate on their meaning, and let them guide your decisions.
In this transformative journey through Psalms 119, you're not alone. These letters walk with you, offering encouragement and wisdom as you navigate your own path. So, embrace the written and ask God to take you on a journey to experience the “Living, Light Letters.” They will inspire your actions, as your life aligns with a higher purpose.
Some examples of self-protective mechanisms include:
- Withdrawal: Avoiding confrontation by pulling away from others
- Manipulation: Using others for one's own advantage
- Projection: Accusing someone else of thoughts and behaviors that are desired to be hidden
- Procrastination: Delaying tasks to avoid negative evaluations from others
- Pretending to be laid back: A way to avoid taking responsibility for one's actions
- Deferring to others: Putting others' needs before one's own
- Using sarcasm: A way to keep people at a distance
Self-protective mechanisms can be activated when someone experiences a threat to their positive self-views, such as being criticized, performing poorly on an exam, or social rejection.

If you've ever been called a left-brain thinker, you've been complimented on your exceptional prowess in math and logic. This is your comfort zone. But what about those dubbed right-brain thinkers?
They usually find their strength in the beautiful chaos of creativity.
Let's explore the traits that define these two types of thinkers.
Those who are driven by their left brain have an affinity for language, they're logical, critical thinkers and have a knack for numbers and reasoning. They're the ones you'd want on your trivia team! The world sees them as analytical, logical, and organized. These are the folks who excel in careers that require linear thinking, maths, and verbal information. Think accountants, scientists, or computer programmers.
On the flip side, we have the right-brained individuals. These are the people who can recognize faces in a crowd, express their emotions in a heartbeat, compose a symphony, and appreciate the nuances of every shade of color in a sunset. They have a vivid imagination, an intuitive sense, and a creative streak that sets them apart.
In essence, right-brained people are often seen as emotional, intuitive, and creative. They thrive in careers that encourage creative expression and free-thinking, like artists, psychologists, or writers.

What most people don’t know, however, is that Locke’s concept of happiness was majorly influenced by the Greek philosophers, Aristotle and Epicurus in particular. Far from simply equating “happiness” with “pleasure,” “property,” or the satisfaction of desire, Locke distinguishes between “imaginary” happiness and “true happiness.” Thus, in the passage where he coins the phrase “pursuit of happiness,” Locke writes:
“The necessity of pursuing happiness [is] the foundation of liberty. As therefore the highest perfection of intellectual nature lies in a careful and constant pursuit of true and solid happiness; so the care of ourselves, that we mistake not imaginary for real happiness, is the necessary foundation of our liberty. 4:6 To seal our sonship God has commissioned the Spirit of sonship to resonate the Abba echo in our hearts; and now, in our innermost being we recognize him as our true and very dear Father. 4:7 Can you see how foolish it would be for a son to continue to live his life with a slave mentality? Your sonship qualifies you to immediately participate in all the wealth of God’s inheritance which is yours because of Christ. (Legalism in its every disguise contradicts sonship. Sonship is not for sale.)
4:8 What really amazes me is how gullible you Gentile believers are to get yourselves all tangled up again in oppressive Jewish rites. I mean you know all about your BC days of slavery to imaginary gods under your pagan beliefs.
4:9 In the meantime, you have come to know the real God; [quite unlike the god of your imagination] what is most significant however, is to discover that he knew you all along. After all, how could you possibly feel attracted again to the pathetic principles of religious deception? It does not matter in what disguise legalism comes, whether pagan or Jewish, it brings the same bondage.
4:10 All of a sudden there are special days, months, seasonal, and annual festivities that are scrupulously celebrated; this is nothing more than superstitious religious sentiment.

4:13 I have never compromised the Gospel, from the first day I met you, even though I was physically challenged at the time it did not distract from the message.
4:14 Remember how hospitable and sensitive you were towards me in spite of my frail condition. Instead of feeling embarrassed or repelled you treated me like a celestial messenger with the same courtesy you would have shown Christ Jesus.
4:15 At that time you were so overwhelmed with gratitude towards me that you would have gladly given me what is most precious to you, even your own eyes, to give me relief for my discomfort. What tenderness of affection you showed.

I have no shame about sharing the Good News of Christ with anyone; the powerful rescuing act of God persuades both Jew and Gentile alike.
Herein lies the secret of the power of the Gospel; there is no good news in it until the righteousness of God is revealed. The dynamic of the gospel is the revelation of 1God’s faith as the only valid basis for our belief. The Prophets wrote in advance about the fact that God believes that righteousness reveals the life of our design. “Righteousness by his (God’s) faith defines life.” (In David's dramatic, prophetic account of the crucifixion in Psalm 22, he concludes with verse 27, "All the ends of the earth shall remember and return to the Lord; and all the families of the nations shall worship before him." And in verse 31, "...they shall declare his righteousness to a people that shall yet be born; that he has done it." The gospel is the revelation of the righteousness of God; it unveils how the Father, Son and Spirit succeeded to put mankind right with themselves. It is about what God did right, not what Adam did wrong. The good news reveals how God’s righteousness rescued the life of our design and redeemed our innocence. Mankind’s futile efforts to justify themselves, have failed them miserably. [Rom 7] The Good News shifts the emphasis away from our failure and condemnation to highlight what it was that God accomplished in Jesus Christ on humanity’s behalf. “Look away [from the law of works] unto Jesus; he is the 1Author and finisher of faith.” [Hebrews 12:2]. It is God’s faith to begin with; it is 1from faith to faith, and not our good or bad behavior; we are not defined by our performance or circumstances. The Greek word translated “from” is the Preposition, 1ek, which always denotes source or origin. The language of the old written code was, “Do in order to become. The language of the new is, “Be, because of what was done.” Instead of do, do, do, it’s done, done, done. Paul refers here to Habakkuk 2:4, “The just shall live by his [God’s] faith.” Habakkuk sees a complete new basis to mankind’s standing Romans 1:15-17 Mirror

If I remember right I am a mix of Lion and Otter. You might say I am a high performance kind of gal. My redemptive gift is prophet, My love languages are, Words of Affirmation and Giving. Now some of you curious ones might say, what about the spiritual gifts referred to in Ephesians? |
I can't tell you how many times Don and I would attend a leadership conference, you would sign up for prophetic ministry and Don would receive my word. The church mindset assumes leader/pastor/male. Don gracious that he is, would point to me and say, nope she is the Pastor and joke that "he was the Pastor's Wife." I do believe that once a person steps through the veil and there transformation begins "Heaven-side" we grow spiritually into all the gifts just like Jesus. Our focus, Fully mature sons. If you have a gift/office/title the purpose of the gift is sharing and showing others how to function in it. We already have had our ah-ha moment about making any individual a middleman. Like I always say: go ask Jesus. PERSONALLY!
