My initial managerial positions were centered around fashion, personal grooming, and luxury product availability. I worked at a renowned high-end department store in the Northwest. Even while juggling family responsibilities, my focus never wavered from style and elegance. Now, as my children start families of their own, I have the luxury to prioritize self-care once again. People often inquire about my beauty regimen, and I enjoy sharing my favorite tried-and-true, not necessarily expensive, delightful products with you.

My skin is naturally oily, I'm told a great blessing at my mature age. Since I was "allowed" in 9th grade, I have worn a full face of makeup. Always a soap and water girl, don't mind a little dramatics when the event warrants it and don't leave out the sparkle! What I am sharing with you are staples I have been using for years. If you have seen me in a video or in person, you have witnessed these excellent facial products.

Ever since I can remember I have used a "loose" powder to set my foundation for the day. It keeps the shine down, adds an extra element of protection. Pür Pressed Mineral Makeup is also wonderful for a quick bare face touch. I add it on top of my Tarte BB foundation and use it as an eye shadow blender and highlight under the brow.
Along with my oily skin came larger pores, tho they have minimized after puberty, and now menopause. Foundation has been a mainstay on my face for an active life. For the winter months I use Fair and amp it up a couple notches for a summer glow, to Light. tarte BB tinted treatment primer never melts or leaves me unprotected even when on the sailboat for the day. My greatest accolade, this foundation doesn't have a slide party into age lines.

Eyebrow Pencil! I'm a natural blonde, now grey hair, and my face disappears without my eyes framed with eyebrow pencil. My preference is to sharpen the pencil myself, I think you get more of the product than those self sharpeners and I control the tip. AnastasiaBeverly Hills - Perfect Brow Pencil in Taupe. So many brow pencils for blondes are warm tones, which is awful. You need cool tones to pull out the under-lights of your hair.

The best Mascara I have ever had the pleasure to find. Out of all of the products shared with you I have used this by far the longest and can only find it on Amazon. Strictly winter and shadow cheek color, but a lovely plum call "sin" that has a permanent place in my makeup box. Great brand, NARS Blush, Sin, Sheer Matte Powder, Again, fantastic cool tones that won't yellow or dinge your blonde or silver tones. Top off with Tickle!

Does your lip gloss have sun screen? There is a high likelihood it does not. Problem solved, Sun Bum is the best in my opinion. Easy to use it every day of the week, whether I stay in or go out. My lips are happy happy. Don't ever neglect and burn your lips again. It is the foundation under every pretty lip gloss I own...

Well, truth be told, again. I am a soap and water girl; however I noticed at this "age" cleansing and moisturizing care is time well spent. I kicked out my old favorite ➡︎ Aveeno products sorry Aveeno. And adopted a new fav. iT Cosmetics won my vote from a sample promo. CONFIDENCE IN A CLEANSER. OMG... the light vanilla lemon smell with the fabulous clean. An easy, quick wash and rinse that takes off the days makeup and grime. Next →
NIGHT ROUTINE: Olay products have been on my bath counter for years. Reasonably priced, innovative, non-greasy. Do I wake up to smoother, brighter skin? When you combine the entire facial care routine, yes!
I'm spoiled, my best friend makes Olive Oil Soap. They are scrumptious, and I scavenge the seconds too! In those moments far and few between, when I need bath soap, PRÉ de PROVENCE is an immediate go to.

Helpful, Helpful! I hate to clean the tub and shower. What's worse is spending a fortune of cleaning product's that are chemically based and you have to open a window to breathe, WRONG! Ta Da! Hydrogen Peroxide

Worth its weight in GOLD! Next to my eyebrow pencil, FAVORITE 💋 Bb thickening dry-spun texture spray is fun in a bottle. In my opinion you can't have to much product on your hair.

Good products protect your hair and hold the style you worked so hard to create. When I straighten my hair, usually for Don or a special occasion, I give myself plenty of time. a valuable key is to work in small sections. The best part of straightening your hair is that you can wear it for several days with minimal touch up.

This is a gem of a find, I have it on Amazon subscription which saves 5% and keeps me well stocked. No more itching head, Sulfate Free. When I treat myself to a beauty day, long hair is a bit more forgiving not requiring frequent trimming. I always ask my stylist to straighten it. Let them do the work. Makes me feel flirty and younger!

Avid Multi-tasker: My iPad has several functions, Music, Listening to Podcast, Watching a video. I hung it over the room separator used as recording studio sound barrier. Compact iPad, Kindle, Nook, eReader Treadmill Book Holder Reading Rack.

if you don't have a 14lb Dash to hold and jump up and down with... weights will work.
I do aerobic movement for my arms, side and above head and use small weights for flabbiness on the backside of arms. At the end of my routine I bounce holding dash for core strength and Grand-baby holding! Good for Dash too!
