What would your answer be?
How do you perceive peace? It's more than just a state of calmness, isn't it?
Let's delve deeper into this. Picture peace as a tranquil garden, free from the noise of conflict or as a serene landscape, untouched by violent storms. It's a state devoid of civil unrest, a mind unburdened by oppressive thoughts and emotions. It's harmony in your personal relationships, like a beautiful symphony.
Even when you're with your loved ones, do you give them your full attention or are you always half in the digital realm? Let's focus on today.
How will you live it? Start by setting a clear intention, a healthy boundary that guides your actions. When your intentions are clear, you can live within them, guiding your day with purpose.
Consider your behavior. Ask yourself, "What am I doing?" I've had to ask myself, "Kristen, why are you acting like that?" Then, once confronted with the truth, take action. Allow a sense of peace to wash over you, to challenge you, to push you to change.
Clarity allows you to check in with yourself, to ask, "Why am I afraid?"
Fear is not something to be hidden away. Shine a light on it, just as God shines a light on our behaviors. God illuminated my son's actions, the way a young girl responded to her mother out of fear, and even my own heart. We learn and grow from these insights, these heavenly perspectives, and use them to advocate for others in the courts of heaven.
Shine a light on your own progress and growth. Show up for yourself and your family will notice. Communicate your growth, say "I'm sorry" when you need to, and make a difference.
Communication is key and it will signal that change has occurred.
Set clear boundaries for what brings you peace, and what disrupts it. Stay firm, shine a light on your fears, your behaviors, and your progress. Remember, growth means being open to change, influenced by others, and willing to adapt.
How are you doing on this journey? Are you lending an ear to your own needs, setting aside distractions to truly focus and be present? It's an act of kindness to oneself. And about those uncertainties that sometimes cloud your peace, have you taken a moment to really understand them? Are they genuine issues or just perceived ones? What's really at the heart of your worries that led you to this episode today?
Jot it down. Know that you're on a path of growth, building relationships that uplift you and support you. That's where I come in, and I couldn't be happier to have you here.
Homework
Think Monday, Wednesday and Friday - with Fridays saved for celebration.
While they may appear as mere suggestions, these moments of introspection can be game-changers.
If you're yearning for personal clarity, indulge in a solitary walk, or treat yourself with something small yet meaningful.
If family issues cloud your mind, find solitude with God and ask the tough questions. "Why does this area make me so sensitive or upset?" Give voice to your feelings, jot them down, and then confront them.
You'll be surprised at how often this simple act can resolve the matter.
And should you need to, bring it up with your family. Allocate this conversation in your 'time budget'. This clarity, combined with your dialogue with God, can usher in a new era of understanding and harmony.
And for you brave ones... write down your goals in the comments below...

James 3:16 An environment of envy and rivalry is conducive to confusion and disorder and all kinds of worthless pursuits. 3:17 The wisdom that originates from above sets the pace in innocence; it loves peace; it is always appropriate (polite); persuaded about that which is good; filled with compassion; these fruits are pure goodness and without discrimination. 3:18 Seed always predicts the harvest. The First Goal of Conversation: Understanding, not Agreement.” — Danny Silk
To be an ace peacemaker, we need to listen, really listen to others. This shows that we respect their perspective and are willing to understand their point of view. It's the foundation of trust and respect, which is crucial for conflict resolution. We also need to master effective communication. This means being clear and concise in our own communication while also understanding the communication styles of others. When we can effectively communicate our own needs and empathize with others, we can find common ground and work together towards a solution.
The cherry on top? Practicing forgiveness and letting go of grudges. Grudges only add fuel to the fire, preventing true reconciliation. By choosing to forgive and move forward, we create space for healing and growth. So, let's show the world how it's done. By cultivating the skills of active listening, effective communication, and forgiveness, we can create a more peaceful world for ourselves and those around us. Thanks for joining me today!
In order for us to practice self-control, we must have a goal. We must have something we are saying “yes” to, which necessarily comes with things that we must say “no” to. We use self-control to maneuver ourselves toward this “yes.” This goal must be entirely our own. The minute another person is choosing and managing our goals for us, we have left self-control behind.”— Danny Silk |

Leadership 101
As we navigate through life, it's not uncommon to feel like we're constantly battling against stress and chaos. Whether it's with our own inner turmoil, the daily interactions we have with others, or our spiritual journey, achieving a sense of peace can sometimes feel like an uphill battle. However, it's important to remember that finding peace is not impossible. In fact, it's something we can all achieve with the right mindset and tools.
Of course, finding peace with others is also an important aspect of achieving a more harmonious life. This can involve learning to communicate effectively, setting boundaries, and practicing empathy and compassion. It's important to remember that we all have our own struggles and challenges, and by approaching others with kindness and understanding, we can create more positive and peaceful interactions.
Finally, finding peace with God or a higher power can be a powerful way to tap into a deeper sense of peace and purpose. This can involve prayer, meditation, or simply taking time to connect with nature or other spiritual practices. By finding a sense of meaning and connection with something greater than ourselves, we can tap into a sense of peace that transcends our daily struggles.
Ultimately, finding peace is an ongoing journey that requires patience and persistence. However, by prioritizing our own well-being, practicing empathy and compassion with others, and connecting with a higher power, we can all work towards a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding.” --Albert Einstein

Yes, I am aware there is a measure of risk when climbing on the backside of two wheels going down the road. It is a together time for Don and I that is at the top of our list. It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the honor of kings is to search out a matter. Proverbs 25:2
PEACE is always Beautiful. We just have to take a step back in our day to breathe deep, feel His presence on the inside, surrender to what we have so many questions about and press forward with the knowledge that God is Good. Peace is filled with His Goodness. Beauty takes our eyes off of self and circumstance which allows us to encounter Him as our way maker.

10 Wonders in Peace
PEACE in the STORM In John 16:33, Jesus said, ...In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer/courage. [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. | |
Courage is often found in the quiet moments with no audience.
As someone who has faced many storms in my own life, I've learned that finding peace is not always easy, but it is always possible. One of the most important things I've discovered is the power of perspective. When we focus solely on the negative aspects of a situation, it can be easy to become overwhelmed and give up hope. But if we shift our focus to the positive things in our lives, no matter how small they may seem, we can begin to find peace and hope.
Another way to find peace in the storm is to reach out for support. It's easy to feel alone during difficult times, but the truth is that we all need help sometimes. Whether it's talking to a friend or family member, seeking advice from a professional, or simply joining a support group, there are many resources available to us.
Finally, it's important to remember that storms don't last forever. Eventually, the clouds will clear and the sun will shine again. While we may never forget the difficult times we've faced, we can emerge from them stronger and more resilient than ever before.
In conclusion, no matter what storm you may be facing in your life right now, remember that peace is possible. By shifting your perspective, reaching out for support, and holding on to hope, you can weather any storm and come out the other side stronger than ever before.
John 16:33 Mirror
Jesus did not say that tribulation, trials, distress and frustration were minus feeling, and emotion, He is asking us to look at Him walking on the water, doing the impossible and expect that the storm will calm. Look at His impossibilities and marinate in Grace abounding.

Peace in the Storm by Sinach Lyrics
I will not be afraid, You are my Shepherd and my guide, My peace in the storm
You are the fourth man in the fire, oh, I will not be afraid, hmm yeah, I praise You in the mountain
Praise You in the valley, God all by Yourself, And I praise You in the mountain, Praise You in the valley
Unfailing, faithful God, You are my Shepherd and my guide, My peace in the storm
The fourth man in the fire, oh, I will not be afraid
I praise You in the mountain, Praise You in the valley, You are God all by Yourself
I praise You in the mountain, Praise You in the valley, Unfailing, faithful God
I praise You in the mountain, Praise You in the valley, You are God all by Yourself
I praise You in the mountain, Praise You in the valley, Unfailing, faithful God
Lord, I praise You in the mountain, Praise You in the valley, God, You are God all by Yourself
I praise You in seasons, And I praise You through the fire, Unfailing, faithful God
You were my Shepherd, Lord You guide me, My peace in this very storm
The fourth man in this fire, whoa
You said, "Do not be afraid"
Thank You, Jesus

PEACE WITH God As I sit down to write this blog post, and put the last of my thoughts together before recording this weeks episode, I'm reminded of the peace that comes with knowing God. It's a peace that surpasses all understanding and one that I've experienced first-hand. For the longest time, I struggled with anxiety and worry, constantly feeling like I was drowning in my own thoughts. But then, I discovered the power of ascended prayer and meditation. Through quiet reflection and a deepening of my intimate experiential knowledge of Him grew faith, I find that my worries began to fade away. I learned to trust in God's plan for my life and to let go of the things I couldn't control. Now, I'm not saying that I never worry or feel anxious anymore. But when those feelings arise, I know that I can turn to God for comfort and guidance. And that brings me a sense of peace that I never thought was possible. | And the peace of God, surpassing all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 Berean |
and eventually dove-tails to that of my original nature in Him.
So if you find yourself struggling with anxiety or worry, I encourage you to take a moment to connect with God.

Father I ask for forgiveness for doubting myself, I trust our relationship, You are very aware of who I am and the calls on my life. I rest and take peace in our Oneness. 3. A feeling of fear or anxiety about something that may happen. Father I ask for forgiveness for allowing distraction to lead my eyes away from You. For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." -Isaiah 41:13 | Look away from the shadow dispensation of the law and the Prophets and fix your eyes upon Jesus. The message God spoke to us in Christ, is the most life giving and dynamic influence in us, cutting like a surgeon’s scalpel, sharper than a soldier’s sword, piercing to the deepest core of human conscience, to the dividing of soul and spirit; ending the dominance of the sense realm and its neutralizing effect upon the human spirit. In this way a person’s spirit is freed to become the ruling influence again in the thoughts and intentions of their heart. The scrutiny of this living Sword-Logos detects every possible disease, discerning the body’s deepest secrets where joint and bone-marrow meet. Hebrews 4:12 Mirror

1 O Father! lift our souls above, Till we find rest in Thy dear love;
And still that Peace divine impart, Which sanctifies the inmost heart,
And makes each morn and setting sun, But bring us nearer to Thy throne.
2 May we our daily duties meet, Tread sin each day beneath our feet,
And win that strength which doth Thy will, And seeth Thee, and so is still;
And fixed on Thy sustaining arm, Find daily food and know no harm.
3 Help us with man in peace to live, Our brother's wrong in love forgive,
And day and night the tempter flee, Through strength which comes alone from Thee!
Thus will our spirits find their rest, In Thy deep Peace forever blest.
PEACE on the Earth The True Meaning of "Peace on Earth" - A Call to Action During the holiday season, we often hear the phrase "peace on earth". It's a beautiful sentiment, but what does it really mean? As we gather with loved ones and reflect on the past year, it's hard not to think about the state of the world. This comes very close to home as family members of mine struggle with the REALNESS hosted on the evening news. Thus the mind battles and torments that come with cell phones reporting news. We are constantly bombarded with news of violence, hatred, and unrest. |
14:27 Peace be with you. I give you my own peace - this is not the kind the world gives - this is peace in the midst of troubled times; therefore you have nothing to fear. Let not your hearts be timid. Mirror
So in every season, let's remember the true meaning of "peace on earth". Let each one of us commit ourselves to making a difference in the world, one small act of kindness at a time. Together, we can create a world that is truly worthy of the phrase "peace on earth".
