What would your answer be?
How do you perceive peace? It's more than just a state of calmness, isn't it?
Let's delve deeper into this. Picture peace as a tranquil garden, free from the noise of conflict or as a serene landscape, untouched by violent storms. It's a state devoid of civil unrest, a mind unburdened by oppressive thoughts and emotions. It's harmony in your personal relationships, like a beautiful symphony.
Even when you're with your loved ones, do you give them your full attention or are you always half in the digital realm? Let's focus on today.
How will you live it? Start by setting a clear intention, a healthy boundary that guides your actions. When your intentions are clear, you can live within them, guiding your day with purpose.
Consider your behavior. Ask yourself, "What am I doing?" I've had to ask myself, "Kristen, why are you acting like that?" Then, once confronted with the truth, take action. Allow a sense of peace to wash over you, to challenge you, to push you to change.
Clarity allows you to check in with yourself, to ask, "Why am I afraid?"
Fear is not something to be hidden away. Shine a light on it, just as God shines a light on our behaviors. God illuminated my son's actions, the way a young girl responded to her mother out of fear, and even my own heart. We learn and grow from these insights, these heavenly perspectives, and use them to advocate for others in the courts of heaven.
Shine a light on your own progress and growth. Show up for yourself and your family will notice. Communicate your growth, say "I'm sorry" when you need to, and make a difference.
Communication is key and it will signal that change has occurred.
Set clear boundaries for what brings you peace, and what disrupts it. Stay firm, shine a light on your fears, your behaviors, and your progress. Remember, growth means being open to change, influenced by others, and willing to adapt.
How are you doing on this journey? Are you lending an ear to your own needs, setting aside distractions to truly focus and be present? It's an act of kindness to oneself. And about those uncertainties that sometimes cloud your peace, have you taken a moment to really understand them? Are they genuine issues or just perceived ones? What's really at the heart of your worries that led you to this episode today?
Jot it down. Know that you're on a path of growth, building relationships that uplift you and support you. That's where I come in, and I couldn't be happier to have you here.
Homework
Think Monday, Wednesday and Friday - with Fridays saved for celebration.
While they may appear as mere suggestions, these moments of introspection can be game-changers.
If you're yearning for personal clarity, indulge in a solitary walk, or treat yourself with something small yet meaningful.
If family issues cloud your mind, find solitude with God and ask the tough questions. "Why does this area make me so sensitive or upset?" Give voice to your feelings, jot them down, and then confront them.
You'll be surprised at how often this simple act can resolve the matter.
And should you need to, bring it up with your family. Allocate this conversation in your 'time budget'. This clarity, combined with your dialogue with God, can usher in a new era of understanding and harmony.

| I love Mexican food. This day stands out in my memory, I kid you not, about 114 outside... MEET THE BLOGGER >>>When you get to the bottom of a blog post, an episode publish, there is a sense of excitement to share. You poor your self in thought and deed to serve, share and inform. I am honored that you have come of this journey with me. For you question seekers who are following me answering 70 of the top interview questions: What is your favorite way to refuel? I love enjoying a glass of wine at a beautiful winery or sitting out in Gods creation. Sailing, the Coast, Mountains, enjoying a meal outdoors with friends. Have you ever been to jail, been arrested, or gotten away with something of the like? Yes and yes. A bazillion years ago, I had suffered a ski injury and was recovering from knee surgery. Not working I let my car tags expire and ignored the few times that the local police department had pulled me over and given me a friendly reminder. Like a dumb teenager, I shove the warnings in my glove box and forgot them. Until... | a lazy Sunday afternoon a knock came on the front door of the farm house I grew up in. They cuffed me (in front) loaded me in the Sheriff's car and took me to Polk county Courthouse/jail. Finger printed me, but allow me to sit in the chairs outside the jail until my boyfriend at that time could run and get cash from a local ATM and bail me out. |

James 3:16 An environment of envy and rivalry is conducive to confusion and disorder and all kinds of worthless pursuits. 3:17 The wisdom that originates from above sets the pace in innocence; it loves peace; it is always appropriate (polite); persuaded about that which is good; filled with compassion; these fruits are pure goodness and without discrimination. 3:18 Seed always predicts the harvest. Righteousness inspires the kind deeds of those who embrace peace; these are like seeds sown into fertile soil. Mirror
3:14 Wear love like a uniform; this is what completes the picture of our oneness. 3:15 Appoint the peace of Christ as umpire in your hearts. We are all identified in the same person; there is only one body. We are born to be a blessing and exhibit his benevolence. 3:16 Give the clarity of God’s conversation in Christ permanent residence in you; allow it’s magnificence to permeate your entire being. Celebrate God. From this rich reservoir of the heart, continue to instruct one another with 6inspired thoughts; making music with stringed instruments and spirit infused songs that articulate the nuances of grace. P.S. I’ll be honest with you—I’m a "Hardback" kind of gal. There is something about diving deep and writing all over the pages, capturing the thoughts and conversations I hear from the Lord in real-time. While the ePub is convenient, it limits your ability to use this as a truly responsive Playbook.
Between you and me, the royalties on a printed book are much smaller, but the impact is so much greater. I want you to have the version that lets you "suit up" and engage. If you want to mark it up, wear it out, and make it yours—go for the Hardback.💋
