Number 2 decision: Marrying my honey.
June 2 1985, how many years is that? _______?
But we are talking about Journaling, not marriage! However, in my list of reasons for last week's email letter, number 12 states:

Ladies, Organize YOU; for your husband.

Let's unpack the attributes in journaling for marital organization
Knowing where I am going. Having a vision and a plan.
Recently my husband retired. It came as a bit of a shock three years before we had planned. Since my thoughts were communicated, even if just to me, I could maneuver through that change efficiently. Change still changes and distracts you. The lifestyle of journaling/creative writing/written prayers, etc. assists you in keeping your focus.
I have routines & plans for

Home
Two businesses,
Supporting my Senior Mom,
Church Leadership/accounting/coaching
Dons Vision board (his dreams and desires) Even the dreams he has at night are logged in my journals.
Keeping up with my adult sons and their wives
Dates (yes, having Dates with my husband) COMMUNICATION!!!
Taking care of me, dreams, desires, health, rest
Writing/Art/Gardening/Baking
Talking to God about ALL THE ABOVE

Breaking the Routine and pattern down a bit further: HOW?
COMMUNICATION (thought written, engagement, and interaction with your words)
FORGIVENESS/DEAL WITH IT/GET OVER IT- forgive yourself, forgive others.
REST/RELAXATION/HEAL/CELEBRATE
CONSISTENCY FOR ME, CONSISTENCY TOWARDS OTHERS
CREATIVE THINKING, Imagination!
GIVE IT AWAY/GET RID OF IT/PUT IT IN THE TRASH decluttering lifestyle
Listening to God about ALL THE ABOVE

I think that is enough to chew on.
