My first real "productivity & organization challenge" in life came through motherhood. Four boys and a husband counted on me finding sanity. Yes, I failed countless times. My Mom and I were just talking yesterday wondering how we raised our families. That is what youth is for, extra energy! 

Then through the barrage of diapers, skinned knees, bugs, swords, pets, farm animals, laundry/mud, bicycles to motorcycles, and football to baseball. I learned how to talk to God or should I say hear from God. 
Sanity simply spelled, asking for help from a higher power. Who wants second-hand information in a time of survival? I learned to value what He said and saw it blossom my life.
That is the birth, struggle, and victory through writing. I went from years of huge binder notebooks into the iPad digital age. Rarely is there a day, rarely, that I don't pen a thought or praise? Over twenty years of valuable words, memories, learning, publication, teaching, counsel, prayers, recipes, and my future projects. Easy to find and rekindle every note and bread crumb path from the journey. 
I am a journaling discipline, with many students who all started saying:
  • I could never do that,
  • I don't understand computers,
  • I can't hear from God,
  • it's way over my head.
They were wrong. 
To repeat: Sanity simply spelled, asking for help from a higher power. Make sure that "power" has the experience and your best interests at hand!   
You can accomplish what is written above and more...Good tools and an experienced teacher make the journey victorious.
