Wishing you a joyful week! How are you? I'm thrilled you're here, ready to delve into His presence together. Let's pray, Father. May Your boundless love envelop us and fill our spirits with a resounding "yes, I can." Picture a warm embrace, a lavish banquet, and a name tag with your name on it. That's right, it's you. Pay attention, dear family, you have the ability, Holy Spirit. We welcome you to open our hearts to welcome Jesus, clear away any distractions, and focus solely on Him. This is truly wonderful.
He has always known us face to face and engineered us upon the mirror horizon of his faith, to be jointly fashioned in the same mold and image of his Son. We see the authentic pattern of our lives preserved in the Incarnate One. He is the firstborn from the same womb that reveals our genesis. Romans 8:29 Mirror

I'm about to share a concept that has been on my mind lately, a spiritual reflection. Picture this scene as I describe it to you, enriched with some wonderful insights. Are you ready? Let's embark on this imaginative journey together. Here's what I envision: I visualized the essence of you and me as essential oil, slowly dripping. Upon closer examination, it resembled the act of squeezing lemon slices. Now, imagine us holding a magnifying glass, observing the oil blending into the juice. Although they remain distinct, they harmoniously flow together in the same droplet. Our lives, like the fruit, are metaphorically being squeezed to extract a valuable essence, where the frequency of our beings is captured in golden droplets. Can you relate to feeling a bit under pressure this week? If so, please raise your hand with me. Amen.

Our Prayer

Pray with me, Father. We ask that Your immense love for us would traverse the airwaves and target our spirit with a flood of "yes, I can." Wrap it up with a huge hug, a luxury bowl, and the name tag with your name on it. That’s you, yes you. Listen, yes you, family, yes you can, Holy Spirit. We give you permission to open our hearts to receive Jesus, open the door of yourself, gather all the distractions, and nail them to yourself. Then, this is so good.
Breathe out, Jesus. We thank you that you are diligently reminding us of who we are. You have always known us face-to-face and engineered us upon the mirror horizon of your faith, and we are jointly fashioned in the same bold and image of you. You open our eyes daily to see the authentic pattern of our lives preserved in you. 

You are the firstborn from that womb, and we come from that same womb which reveals our Genesis. We come from the same mold, we come from the same wound, and we celebrate our witness. And now, by faith, the faith that you, Father, have in us, we walk this day, this moment, in strength and favor, breathing in and breathing out. And together we say, "yes, I can." Again, we say, "yes, I can." Amen and so be it. 

We are recording this episode during Easter, in the week between Palm Sunday and Easter, where life is celebrated amidst challenges to established beliefs. Jesus symbolizes overcoming blasphemy with sacrifice. If we could transport back 2000 years and have Jesus listen to this podcast, he might empathize with feeling pressured this week. Like in the quote attributed to Einstein, we find ourselves in uncharted territories, embodying the essence of humanity as pioneers, leaders, and discoverers. We acknowledge our connection to Christ's crucifixion and embrace our journey towards resurrection. We stand on the brink of new beginnings. This is our firm understanding of ourselves.

When Intentional Now Podcast rebranded to Interviewing Jesus Podcast, I did extra research on interviewing technics and questions asked by famous interviewers. I started a self challenge to answer everyone of those questions asked here, personally. Boy are you in for a?????? Story and information about you know who! You are invited to "paruise" through... Probably things my husband doesn't even know about me. My purpose; love and community.

This weeks question is: What is the best compliment you have ever received? 

I have to respond with 3 compliments that are pin to the T-shirt of my life. First our boys, Don and I would both agree that an invitation to "hangout" with our children at there own personal events, gatherings and parties is a compliment. We love there friends and are honored to share in there lives and families. 

Second is also woven in the first. My son Jacob has a very dear friend who was relocating back to Alaska, we were invited to that send off party. And what a party it was! Jacob and Kate have a real gift for hospitality, chips of the old block between Don and I.  Not the first time I had rubbed shoulders with Les. One of my favorite people in the world to have a discussion about  changing the world. Such fun to wrap our opinions into the atmosphere and see what comes forth. It was such a treat to tuck in gift-wrap a signed copy of my book as a send off gift. Felt like our conversations would continue in the spirit even if miles separated us. The gift touched his heart as hugs sent him to re-discover a new season in Alaska.  A season of "Alaska Fishing" past and Les traveled back to Corvallis with his pockets more prepared for the life he wanted to explore. We met up once again at the "Wambach Garage Bar" leaning on the stained pallet bar with good friends and family around.  Les told me that during a recent flight he had purpose to read my book. Nothing like hours in a capsule to encourage us to catch up on matters of the brain and heart. He told me, as we imbibed on local cider fare, that he bawled and weeped while reading my book. The stories so easy for him to visualize of my boys and family choked him up beyond a momentary recovery. Tell me when the last time one of your kids friends paid you a compliment like that? Hurray! And my last, tho it has been pinned on my heart sleeve the longest, it occurred during those child bearing years. Dear friends from our San Diego days had a family beach home in Canon Beach Oregon. We had the pleasure to spend a weekend with them at the "Blue Willow" house. Glen, Dons best man  and the boys, early grammar school age were napping or walking the beach. The house was quiet, giving ample opportunity for Donna and I to have some female heart to heart on the back porch. As we sat with the Ocean crashing many yards away on this very beach front property she asked me, "Kristen, what does it "feel" like to have a face that could be on the cover of a magazine? "I was in my early thirties then, but I took notice of her honest curiosity. Honestly I don't remember what I said, I'm sure I thanked her for her compliment and flattery. 

If I answered that question today? Hmm? Since I find myself on video and in the public eye I suppose its a gift well spent by God for your sake. My husband is happy with this face. And thank you! There are a few "flaws" I'd like to take care of, braces and I wish to have the moles on my face removed. Still time.
