Better Health Better Me: My come to Jesus Moment

I am acting brave right now. I'm jumping in with both feet. Why? Because Jesus told me that this is an area of influence in my life. Once more, I find myself with a big start banner over the top of me. 
Let's put history in the story: My Mom started me in dance when I was three. I have those tiny black ballet slippers, along with a couple of other pairs. The cute ones I hang on my Christmas Tree. When we moved from L.A. to Oregon in 1964, I remember attending dance class at the top of a bowling alley in Keizer, Oregon. That bowling alley is still there today. I took ballet until middle school age when my Mom switched my lessons to the piano. I was disappointed to miss out on the opportunity to go onto pointe but fulfilled that dream as an adult. I had an excellent piano teacher for my three years of experience. Later on in life, those piano lessons (for which I hardly ever practiced) came in handy for my years of leading worship. My boys bought me a grand piano several years back. Such a lovely instrument that sits in my living room and serves beautifully for Sunday home church gatherings. During my high school years, I thrived at cheerleading, playing on the tennis team, fulfilling once again "all things movement." One of my first "Adult" jobs was that of an Aerobic Instructor. And to put a smile on your face, I also taught Disco Dancing and competed during the Disco era. It was a blast! In my late 40s to 50, movements were ignited in my competitive nature when I learned, played, and competed in pickleball. 
Movement and I are well acquainted, which is vital to my emotional health. That brings us full circle.

If I ask myself, when did I lose focus? It's better answered, that I changed my focus. Now we are looking at my journey and memoirs found in The UnFinished Book. I founded and lead a Supernatural School of Ministry, and ordination seemed to follow.  My emphasis was on the spirit and you could say I accomplished the "Spiritual." And then some. 
Fast forward - we are to seeing in the spirit and believe me all things changed. 
If you haven't listened to my podcast, read my book and maybe this is our first introduction. I apologize, there is an entire manuscript missing in my back story. I invite you to get to know me a little better. But feel I must move on to the bull's eye of this particular blog post.  

My come to Jesus moment: One of the benefits of developing your ability to see in the spirit: it also opens your seeing/encountering the timeline. Yes, backward and forwards. Jesus also experienced this on the mount of transfiguration. He saw His future sacrifice and resurrected self. The cool thing is that He invited His most intimate friends to experience this with Him. He is still inviting His intimate friends today. You can read my first-hand experience in The UnFinished Book Chapter 2, Moving on.

For the last three years, I have been stewarding/working with Jesus on a particular mandate/assignment that I was shown regarding my future. I have encountered myself hundreds of times on the path of it coming to pass. That is what we call Heaven coming to Earth, amen! We perceive something in heaven and Jesus teaches us to bring it to the earth. 
About four months ago Jesus and I were relooking at the timeline of my tomorrow. I looked at myself in the future, including the surroundings I had been working diligently on. I looked so healthy. It was very strange, to see myself tan, bare-legged, wearing a pair of cowboy boots and a short skirt. Not my normal clothing choice for a mature woman, boy did I look in good shape. I am standing out in front of a particular dwelling God has spoken to me about on many occasions. Jesus peering into my heart the way He does. I felt it! My conviction. For months I had been positioning myself towards this financial promise to come to pass. Here I was doing nothing to move my heart/soul/body to equal the health and wellbeing I was shown. I had taken massive action in my heart, spirit, finances, opportunity, home, marriage, & close friends were all supporting my faith. But my feet were stagnant and motionless. How would I arrive at the obvious, to look like the person I saw in the future. My entire being was repentant. The come to Jesus kind, I am so sorry. And the apology was probably more for me than God. Taking Care of Me was something that I could do, I could commit to that, and I knew that I knew, I would arrive in Wellbeing at the promise. I wept at the joy of the moment. 
My butt was divinely put into gear! Four months, two sizes smaller and counting,
I work out six days a week without fail, without mindset argument, without excuse. Brings tears to my eyes writing it out. Jesus put a Me-magnet on my refrigerator of motivation!

I can't think of a better testament to the love of God. 
Testament of the power of seeing. 
Testament how important it is for us to take off the blinders of religion and recover our spiritual sight. 
Now you know what possesses my heart. What has sent me on a journey of discovery? Why I can be brave today, start a new journey with you.

I will ask you this, wouldn't you like to see in the spirit?
Can you imagine that God-given ability serving: Better Health Better you! 
Remember God is no respecter of person.

In four months I have dropped 2 sizes
Enjoyed playing golf with my son
After 2 years of suffering: Plantar fasciitis is gone. 
Morning body aches, gone
Enjoyed hiking with my dear friend Susan
8 mile hike around clear lake with son & daughter in love
Recovered emotional (Confidence)
Took the tags off & wore a cute little white jean skirt ( have it on today)
and stepped into a New Season with you!
