And with this belief, we open our hearts to the divine words that the Lord whispers to us repeatedly, "You are worthy. You are cherished. You are a precious gem in my eyes. Your life and your words hold significance. You possess courage that outweighs the sum of your hidden fears. Victory is your ally, and its name is Jesus." The calling of a brighter future ignites a fire within us every single day, a fire that shapes that very future. As I grapple with these revelations, I find myself constantly challenged to remain focused. The single-minded pursuit of my purpose.
For everything that is really great and inspiring is created by the individual who can labour in freedom.” —Albert Einstein I've found myself at the base of life's staircase time and time again. But in each restart, I've discovered the silver lining: a fresh perspective. It's like having a new set of ears, keen to soak up wisdom and knowledge in its rawest form. Each time I begin anew, I become an artisan crafting my life with the tools of understanding, wisdom, and experience. How many times can we start over? The answer is as many times as it takes. The beauty of change, the art of metamorphosis, is something I've grown good at. It's become a strength, my secret sauce. I've become an expert at embracing the unfamiliar, the uncharted. I've learned the language of courage, the dialect of bravery. It can be a lonely journey, especially when those you hold dear struggle to understand your vision. It's a hard truth to swallow. But remember, the vision was gifted to you, not them. It's your journey, your path to tread. Their lack of support doesn't define your success. It's time to turn up the volume on your mission and let your self-belief echo across the valleys of doubt. Every start and restart, every trial and error, every fall and rise, has led us to this point. The home plate beckons, and we approach it seasoned, not empty-handed. We've had our fair share of misses, our bouts with failure. But we still hold the bat, ready to swing at the balls life pitches our way. So, let's swing for the fences, let's light up the sky with our audacity. You see, we're not clueless. We've got the tools, the experience, the grit. And most importantly, the chance to start again. It could be on a Monday morning, the first day of a new year, or after a life-altering event. The power to reset, to move forward, resides within us. So take a moment, lay out your tools, your strengths, your experiences. Separate the wheat from the chaff, the helpful from the unhelpful. Identify your strengths and march forward, armed with the knowledge of what you're good at. We hold the power to change our today, to shape our tomorrow. And the blueprint? It's etched in our hearts, in our minds. It's a constant workshop of transformation, a never-ending discussion of purpose and priorities. It's a conscious choice of what we say yes to, and a relentless pursuit of what needs to get done. We're all on a quest to live the life we were meant to live, and I invite you to join me on this journey of transformation and growth. Let me paint you a picture: Imagine a world where everything just clicks into place. All the pieces of the puzzle - people, animals, the very stuff of the universe - perfectly aligned in harmony, like a beautiful symphony. This isn't just a dream, but the reality that God has restored for us, as stated in Colossians 1:20. Doesn't that inspire a sense of awe in you? Now, let's get real. You've been with me on this journey for a while, right? We've had our share of ups and downs, our moments of joy and struggle. We've navigated the tumultuous seas of marriage, family, and financial difficulties together. And through it all, I've shared with you the ways in which God has emboldened me. This week was no exception. In the midst of a trying week, I heard God's voice. He expressed regret for a situation I was facing. Yet, my response was bold: "I don't need your sympathy, I need your confidence. Tell me I can conquer this." That's a powerful statement, isn't it? I jotted it down because it resonated with me. I want to hear that I can triumph, and I believe you do too. We need those affirmations in our lives, those declarations of victory. Now, let's bring it back to you. I believe that you're here for a reason, that your heart is open and yearning to learn and grow. Heaven is more than a belief, it's a reality, and its principles are as true as the sky is blue. And remember, I'm not just preaching to the choir here. I'm also talking to myself. If I serve up wisdom, I'm also digesting it. This week, I hit a wall - the wall of surrender. I felt like giving up.** No person is your friend (or kin) who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow.” —Alice Walker You've probably met the "giving up" wall before, haven't you? That point where you throw your hands up and say, "I'm done. I can't do this anymore." Trust me, we've all been there. It's a tough spot, but remember, you're not alone. That's the beauty of having an open heart and a community around you. A few days ago, I hit this wall myself. I was feeling utterly defeated and decided to share my struggle with my closest friends. In doing so, I realized a few key things that I want to share with you. First, never make a decision when you're overwhelmed by emotions. I've made a pact with myself to never make decisions when I'm in the throes of an emotional storm. Second, surround yourself with a group of people who truly love you, even in your darkest hours. I have a group of friends who have walked beside me through thick and thin for over a decade now. We've learned to love each other even in the hard times. I've given these friends permission to speak into my life, and I make it a point to listen. I trust that they are vessels for God's voice. The final key, and this is a big one, is to respond to their words with an open heart. I've been meditating on a few scriptures that the Holy Spirit highlighted for me this week as I navigated my own struggles. One of my favorites is from Hebrews: "Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vine... yet I will rejoice in the Lord." This scripture reminds me to find joy in God even when things are not going as planned. Like hiking on a mountain, you need to keep your spirit in the high places and refuse to quit. Remember, we possess a soul that believes against all odds. I urge you to share this message with those who need to hear it. Remember, God is an all-consuming fire of love. Together, let's echo ABBA, and have a blessed day. BINGE LISTEN...
He initiated the reconciliation of all things to himself. Through the blood of the cross God restored the original harmony. His reign of peace now extends to every visible thing upon the earth as well as those invisible things which are in the 1heavenly realm. (The heavens, 1ouranos, a place of elevation, from oros, a mountain, from airo, to lift, to raise, to elevate, “Not only that, but all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe, people and things, animals and atoms, get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all because of his death.” — The Message.)
