Merry Christmas Wishing you and your family a joyful Christmas! As we gather on the eve of Christmas Eve, I find myself reflecting on the season. From my office window, the sun shines brightly, occasionally breaking through the puffy white clouds. At my feet lies Dash, my beloved King Charles Spaniel, while Don calls me in for breakfast. In this season, the desires of Christmas often linger quietly in a mother’s heart. They dwell within wives planning surprises for their husbands hidden beneath the tree. They exist in the thoughts of long-time friends and in the hopes of acquaintances looking to cultivate meaningful connections. As I write this, I envision you—whether you are reading or listening—taking a moment amidst the post-gift-opening chaos. Picture the scene: wrapping paper strewn across the family room, laughter filling the air. I’m nestled in my pajamas, with family members popping in and out throughout the day. The comforting aroma of turkey and rice soup fills the house, simmering in the crock-pot, a gift to myself for a hassle-free meal. Yet I can’t resist making a couple of sour cream lemon pies for our extended family gathering tomorrow. Merry Christmas to you all! May your holiday be filled with warmth, love, and cherished moments. My Gift to You! updates on Christmas Day Complete 25 Day Advent Video The Advent season is a beautiful reminder of the abundance that God has prepared for us. It’s a time filled with anticipation, joy, and reflection, as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of Christ’s birth. This year, let’s embrace the idea that the Advent drawer is overflowing with blessings, waiting for us to discover and appreciate them. When we think about the gifts that God has in store for us, it’s easy to fall into the mindset that they are meant for some distant future. However, the message of Advent is clear: these gifts are not just for someday, but for today! Each day of this season offers us an opportunity to unwrap the joys and blessings that surround us, if only we take a moment to look. As we navigate through our daily lives, it’s natural to have questions and doubts. I often find myself pondering the mysteries of faith, wondering how God is working in my life and the lives of those around me. But rather than letting those questions deter me, I choose to lean into them. I listen for the answers that come not just through scripture, but in the quiet moments of reflection and prayer. In these instances, I find that God is always speaking, guiding, and affirming our worth.
In this Advent season, let’s open our hearts to the gifts that are present in each moment. Whether it’s the warmth of a shared smile, the beauty of a winter sunset, or the love of family and friends, these are all manifestations of God’s grace. He believes in us, and through His unwavering support, we are encouraged to believe in ourselves and in the goodness that life has to offer. So, as we continue through Advent, let’s commit to being present. Let’s ask our questions, listen for the answers, and celebrate the wealth of blessings that God has prepared for us today. Let’s share these gifts with one another, amplifying the joy of the season and creating a tapestry of love, hope, and faith that reflects the true spirit of Christmas. Truly Magical YouTube Enjoy!
