Healthy Mind, Healthy Life Relating Heaven to earth with Pastor Kristen Wambach
Have you ever felt like Heaven is a beautiful destination "out there," but entirely absent from your "here"? Many seekers and entrepreneurs find themselves stuck in a survival mode where God feels more like a distant theological concept than a vibrant, daily companion.
Recently, I was invited as a guest on the global platform Healthy Mind, Healthy Life to discuss a theme central to my mission: demystifying the spirit world and reclaiming our "Spiritually Brave" heritage. As an ordained pastor with over 40 years of ministry and a transformation coach, I have found that the greatest barrier to spiritual growth isn't a lack of faith—it is a lack of perspective.

Relating Heaven to Earth: Kristen Wambach on Demystifying the Spirit and Living Spiritually Brave

Jesus redefines who we think He is, moving us from religion into a history of conversation." —Kristen Wambach

The Redefinition of "Yes"

In our conversation, we explored what it means when Jesus begins to redefine the things we once said "yes" to. For many, that initial "yes" was to religion, to rules, or to a distant Spirit that felt untouchable. My own journey as a "mystical pioneer" began when I moved from spiritual blindness to having my eyes opened to the spiritual realm. When you hang out with someone truly awesome, they want to share their "good stuff" with you. The Spirit is no different. Heaven isn't trying to hide; it is trying to communicate. Whether I am teaching on the "Interviewing Jesus Podcast" or coaching an entrepreneur, my goal is always to simplify the supernatural. The spiritual realm is not "woo-woo"—it is a practical, tangible reality that offers us exclusive access to the heart of Jesus for wisdom that rewrites our lives.

From Workflow to Life Flow

One of the most powerful ways this "heavenly connection" manifests is in our professional lives. I shared a story about the intersection of my home office and a simple hummingbird feeder. I wanted to enjoy God’s creation while I worked, so my husband hung a feeder by my window. That simple, creative moment—enjoying the "coolness" of the Spirit in nature—birthed a nationwide business. This is the shift from a traditional Workflow to a Life Flow. When we co-create with the Divine, our business ideas aren't forced; they unfold from our God-inspired DNA calling. If a solution blesses you and solves a problem in your own environment, it is likely the key to blessing others. As a global voice for spiritual leadership, I believe our to-do lists should be nothing less than acts of worship.

[0:05] Avik: Hey beautiful people, welcome back to another episode of Healthy Mind, Healthy Life, where we explore the intersection of personal growth, soul work, and the divine alignment. I'm your host and today, oh, we are going in. Let me ask you a few things, dear listeners, before we jump into the discussion.
[0:28] Avik: Have you ever felt like heaven is out there but not here? Also, have you ever wondered how to tap into the unseen—not just as a belief, but as a daily reality? Or have you found yourself stuck in this survival mode where God feels more like a concept than a companion? And what if I told you that the spirit isn't some far-away or far-off mystery, but a vibrant, expressive, cool presence just waiting to be rediscovered? Amazing, right?
[1:14] Avik: So do let me know your perspectives. What do you think about it? Today, we are peeling back the veil with someone who doesn't just talk about spiritual connections, but she lives it boldly. Joining us is Kristen Wambach. Welcome to the show, Kristen!
[1:43] Kristen Wambach: Hello, and thank you so much for having me. Great questions.
[1:51] Avik: Amazing, amazing. And before we start, I'd quickly love to introduce you to all the listeners. Dear listeners, Kristen is an Oregon farm girl turned mystical pioneer, author, podcaster, entrepreneur, and ordained pastor. Kristen is a storyteller with fire in her bones, a voice for the spiritually brave, and someone who's tasted and seen the goodness of God in the most unexpected places.
[3:06] Avik: She helps people live spiritually brave, tuning into the divine, creating the life from the inside out and making the unseen seen. So dear listeners, grab your coffee or the wine or whatever situations you are in—just use that. We are about to demystify the spirit world and discover the unapologetic coolness of God's presence. This isn't just your Sunday sermon; it’s a spiritual reawakening. Kristen, you describe your journey as Jesus redefining what you once said "yes" to. What did that moment of radical transformation look like for you?
[4:11] Kristen Wambach: Great question. So, Jesus redefining what I used to say yes to. Yeah, we say things "yes" to—well, "God is like this" and "God is like that." Jesus is like this, but he's a spirit; he's not reachable, tangible, touchable. And then you get in relationship with him and you start growing and changing. And when you hang out with somebody who's really awesome and cool, they show you and share with you their good stuff.
[4:48] Kristen Wambach: So I went from being spiritually blind—literally blind—to God opening up my eyes so that I could see in the spiritual realm. And now tell me, what do you do with that? All of a sudden you go like, "All right... that looks like an angel there."
[5:14] [Music]
[5:15] Kristen Wambach: And can I see this all the time? Can I turn this on? Can I turn this off? I mean, there are so many questions. But believing what Jesus shows you is the simplest way I know how to explain it. But he does—he redefines who we think he is and what religion is. He redefines it.
[5:45] Avik: Exactly. So what do you say to someone who wants to believe that heaven is close, but just doesn't feel it anymore?
[5:59] Kristen Wambach: That's a great question. What do you say to somebody who believes that heaven is close but they don't feel it anymore? So I might come back and ask a question to a question: "Who told you that you weren't feeling it anymore?"
[6:23] Avik: Good to think, yeah.
[6:25] Kristen Wambach: And then, who told you that God was distant instead of sitting right next to you? Like if you're driving down the road listening to the podcast, where in life did they tell you that he wasn't sitting right there in the passenger seat while you're driving? It’s a perspective. You open up a perspective that he is always there with you, ready to have a conversation with you, and that changes everything.
[7:02] Avik: Amazing. And this is so real. I mean, I think many of us have been there—disappointed, disconnected, but almost numb to the idea of spiritual closeness. But what you are saying is that heaven was never far; we just stopped listening.
[7:35] Avik: You talk about celebrating the "coolness" of the spirit. So many people think the Holy Spirit is abstract or intimidating. How do you come to know the spirit as relatable and joyful?
[8:07] Kristen Wambach: You come to know because you have a history of conversation. God taught me how to hear him through the vehicle of journaling. And I started writing it down. I started putting journals and notebooks next to my bed, in the bathroom, everywhere. So that when I had that little snippet—our perceptions can come through different ways: some people hear it, some feel it, some see it. It just depends on what sense is already the strongest. I just believe that God always wants to talk to me. He's a conversation. It's like picking up the telephone—you dial the number and say, "Okay God, I'm choosing to have a conversation with you. Teach me how to listen."
[9:18] Avik: Amazing. Is there a moment or story where you truly felt the spirit show up in an unexpectedly down-to-earth way?
[9:37] Kristen Wambach: Great question. I'm thinking for a moment... When I was discovering my spiritual eyesight being turned on and developing that—because it is something that can be turned on and turned off. We have the ability as spiritual beings. We're made in his image.
[10:24] Kristen Wambach: I was driving on my youngest son's fifth-grade beach trip to the coast. We get to Pacific City and there’s huge sand dunes there. I'm looking up on the dunes and then I see, "Well, geez, that really looks like an angel up there." Now the first thing I have done is I have started this conversation with God. I believe that angels are around us. And so I kind of asked him, I said, "Well, can I turn this on or turn that off? Am I really seeing an angel?" I'm questioning myself, which is fine—I'm questioning how this works. And so he goes, "Well, why don't you go find out?"
[11:44] Kristen Wambach: So I climbed the sand dune. And when I got up there, could I still see the angel? Yes. And there was a perfectly good reason why the angel was there. There was a big wash out or cavern in the top of the sand dune and they had it all fenced off with warning signs, but people had climbed over and fallen down into the ravine. So that's natural—God has angels to protect us. That angel was there to protect individuals, probably telling them, "Don't climb the fence."
[12:44] Kristen Wambach: I pushed it a little bit farther. I asked God, "Well, if I turn around and I look over the city line, will I still see angels?" And he goes, "Well, why don't you check that out?" So I turned around and I went, "Wow, look at all those angels ascending and descending over the community." Sometimes spiritual things seem too "woo woo" or too mystical when they're actually practical. Wouldn't you assume that God would send angels to protect people from dangerous things? Of course.
[13:44] Avik: Exactly. I mean that's such a vibe. The spirit isn't here to confuse, but it’s here to communicate. Amazing. Now, I love how you blend spirituality with entrepreneurship. You call it a "workflow to life flow." How do we bring the divine into our everyday work and finances?
[16:03] Kristen Wambach: Absolutely. As an entrepreneur, I have my fingers in five different online stores. I stay at home, I work a lot. And I asked my husband one day, "Would you hang a hummingbird feeder right here by my office window so I can enjoy it?" He hung it and made this little pulley for me. One day, I’m sitting here enjoying the hummingbirds and I went, "Wow, if that works for me, why wouldn't it work for other people?"
[16:57] Kristen Wambach: And it created a business. Now we make five different models of the same thing. It’s a little pulley system that actually elevates your bird feeders and keeps people from having to climb ladders. God creates things from who we are and right where we are. It created a business and we sell it all across the country.
[17:30] Avik: That's amazing. Our to-do lists become acts of worship and our purpose starts to unfold from within. You also mention that everyone has a unique spiritual gift. How can we begin to identify what God placed within us?
[19:16] Kristen Wambach: The most important thing is that conversation. Sometimes it sounds so simple, but picking up the phone and believing that God wants to speak to you. A lot of times people will ask me a question and I always ask them, "Did you ask God?" And they say, "Well no, he doesn't talk to me." Well, there's your first point of intersection—changing that belief that he doesn't want to talk to you.
[20:12] Kristen Wambach: God has many ways he speaks to us—through a song on the radio, a billboard, or walking in nature. It's just a matter of developing our relationship with him just like any other relationship. A practical how-to: If you want to have a conversation and you feel like he's distant, ask "Would you forgive me?" That's how simple it is. You remove those walls by saying, "I'm sorry that I believed you were distant."
[21:42] Avik: Amazing. I believe this conversation today is really the one where there is a lot of great thinking and learning.
[23:34] Avik: I couldn't go further if I did not thank Kristen because, Kristen, thank you so much for bringing your light and the stories and your fierce gentleness to this conversation. You have reminded us that the spiritual life isn't about escaping the earth; it’s all about bringing heaven into it.
[24:04] Kristen Wambach: Thank you for having me. Do I have time to give another question for somebody to ask?
[24:12] Avik: Yes, yes, yes.
[24:15] Kristen Wambach: Here’s a very simple question. When you have a situation—whether it’s in your health or relationships—ask God: "God, how would you have me ask you to walk through this?" [25:05] Kristen Wambach: What it does is put us in a place of listening, but he gives us the good ideas, the good way to ask him where it opens up our understanding. We go, "Oh, I never thought about that that way." And that will set us free. He will bring health and wholeness and prosperity as we step into what we heard him say.
[25:40] [Music]
[25:47] Avik: Lovely. Dear listeners, if you have ever felt disconnected or disillusioned, let this episode be your invitation to explore and engage with the spirit in a new way. Do not forget to check out Kristen's podcast, books, and coaching. She is doing really a holy work and it’s nothing short of transformational. Until next time, this is your host Avik. Stay spiritually brave, stay open, and never stop discovering the coolness of the spirit.

The Language of the Unseen

How do we maintain this connection? It starts with a "history of conversation." I often tell my clients and listeners that hearing God is as simple as picking up the phone. For me, the vehicle has always been journaling. By documenting the "snippets" of Rhema—the living, spoken breath of God—we build a record of His faithfulness. We must also exercise relational discernment. In the spiritual realm, there is "yucky stuff" that can cause fear, but as Spirit-led leaders, we have the authority to turn that lens off. We choose to look at the angels ascending and descending over our communities, workplaces, and homes. We choose to see the goodness of God in the land of the living.

The Practical Pivot

If you feel disconnected, the remedy is a simple shift in questioning. Instead of asking "Why is this happening?", try asking: "God, how would you have me ask you to walk through this?" This opens a door for Him to provide the "good ideas" and the supernatural wisdom required to navigate life’s caverns.Bringing Heaven to Earth isn't about escaping reality; it’s about infusing your reality with the wisdom, prosperity, and wholeness of the Spirit. It is time to stop wondering if God is close and start living as if He is sitting in the passenger seat—because He is.
Conclusion
The spiritual life was never intended to be an escape from our earthly reality, but the very fuel for it. As we move from spiritual blindness into a life lived Spiritually Brave, we begin to see that the "coolness" of the Spirit is present in every hummingbird that visits a feeder and every creative strategy that enters our business. My conversation with Avik on Healthy Mind, Healthy Life serves as a global reminder: Heaven is not a distant reward; it is a current, tangible resource.
By shifting your perspective, developing a history of conversation through journaling, and moving from a forced workflow to a divine Life Flow, you unlock the "C♡♡Lness" of the supernatural. You are a creative being made in the image of a Creative God, and you have exclusive access to the heart of Jesus for wisdom that transforms.

PRESS RELEASE

Mystical Pioneer Kristen Wambach Featured on "Healthy Mind, Healthy Life" to Demystify the Spiritual Experience for Global Leaders and Entrepreneurs
CORVALLIS, OR — Kristen Wambach, acclaimed author, transformation coach, and host of the Interviewing Jesus Podcast, recently joined host Avik on the international platform Healthy Mind, Healthy Life to share her insights on bridging the gap between heavenly wisdom and earthly reality. In a soul-stirring conversation titled "Relating Heaven to Earth," Wambach challenges the traditional religious narrative, offering a practical framework for what she calls "Spiritually Brave" living.
With over 40 years of ministry experience as an ordained pastor and 20 years as a transformation coach, Wambach has dedicated her life to simplifying the supernatural. During the episode, she details her personal journey from "spiritual blindness" to becoming a mystical pioneer who views the spirit world not as a distant mystery, but as a vibrant, "cool," and tangible daily reality.

"Jesus redefines who we think He is, moving us from religion into a history of conversation," says Wambach.
"The spirit isn’t here to confuse; it’s here to communicate. When we co-create with the divine, our to-do lists actually become acts of worship."

The interview highlights Wambach’s unique ability to blend high-level spiritual truths with practical entrepreneurship. She shares the "Hummingbird Revelation"—a story of how a simple moment of divine inspiration at her office window birthed a nationwide business. This concept, which she calls shifting from Workflow to Life Flow, empowers entrepreneurs to solve real-world problems through spiritual alignment.
Key takeaways from the episode include:
  • Developing Spiritual Sight: Practical keys to "turning on" spiritual senses to navigate life with heavenly wisdom.
  • The Journaling Vehicle: How documenting "snippets" of divine thought builds a history of conversation with God.
  • Relational Discernment: Choosing to focus on spiritual authority and light rather than fear-based distractions.
  • The Power of the Pivot: Moving from asking "Why?" to asking, "God, how would you have me ask you to walk through this?"

BEYOND THE THRESHOLD
x
I believe that the gap between Heaven and Earth is not a distance to be traveled, but a threshold to be crossed. My faith isn’t found in "stale bread" religion, but in a face-to-face, relational reality with a God who is better than our current bandwidth can imagine.
The Pillars of Our Experience:
  • The Restoration of All Things: I believe no story is too broken for the goodness of God. From the depths of the "Field of Blood" to the heights of the celestial courts, His heart is set on our complete wholeness.
  • The Safety of Belonging: For the Servant heart and the Mercy soul, I believe the Father is building a "Sure House"—a place where your unique design is celebrated, and your presence is essential to the family of God.
  • Redemptive DNA: I believe every person carries a God-inspired signature. By uncovering our Redemptive Gifts, we move from the "poverty of striving" into the wealthy identity of an heir.
  • Relational Discernment: I believe in a "Rhema" connection—a living, breathing conversation with Jesus that provides the supernatural wisdom to navigate our actual, messy lives.
I believe in the "Dangerous Hope" that shires up the GATES of our lives, ensuring that neither height nor depth can separate us from the love that first called us Spiritually BRAVE.
