Interview Grow & Go

with Em Tyler

The Architecture of an Encounter:
Moving from “Just a Girl” to Spiritually Brave

The world is noisy, but the spirit is precise. For many, the Christian walk is a series of "autopilot" decisions—a rhythm of moral efforts and theological study that often leaves the heart running on empty. But what if the gap between heaven and earth isn’t a distance to be traveled, but a frequency to be tuned into?
Recently, I sat down with Em Tyler on the Grow & Go podcast to discuss a journey that began on an Oregon farm and led me into the deep, mystical nature of Christ. Over 30 years of leadership and spiritual mentoring, I have discovered that "Spiritually Brave" living isn’t for the elite—it is the birthright of every believer willing to believe what Jesus shows them.

The Library of Silence

Grow & Go Podcast Guest Speaker Kristen Wambach
For three decades, I have kept a record. I have often told my students that the Holy Spirit is written in ink in many Bibles, but He is intended to be a real, conversational Person in our lives.
My 30-year journaling practice isn't just a hobby; it is a neurological and spiritual bridge. When we hear the Lord, the word is unseen. The moment we write it down, it becomes a record on the earth. It moves from the ethereal to the tangible. This is how we build a "Book of Remembrance," mirroring the heavenly libraries. When you value what He says by taking note, He gives you more.
Who needs to see in the spirit when the glory of God is already making the way?" —Kristen Wambach

The Parliament Encounter: A Case Study in Authority

One of the most profound markers of my journey occurred six months before I ever set foot in London. In a spiritual encounter—a "movie of the spirit"—I saw myself in a black British taxi, accompanied by a butler-like figure carrying a crown on a pillow. I saw the rotunda, the columns, and the path into a specific building. At the time, as a "Western girl" with cowboy boots and a heart for the Pacific Northwest, I had no context for the Opening of Parliament. Yet, six months later, through a series of miraculous "redirects," I found myself standing in the House of Lords—the "Red Room"—realizing my spirit had already walked these halls.
This is the power of Relational Discernment. When we trust Jesus more than our own understanding, He grants us access to places we aren't "supposed" to be. He provides the "free ticket" to the House of Lords, proving that you are not just a stay-at-home mom, a CEO, or a retiree—you are a co-heir with Christ who carries the frequency of the Kingdom into every room you enter.

Conviction vs. Condemnation: The Voice of Truth

In my 30 years of public ministry, the most common barrier I see is the "hard shell" of past mistakes. Many people are afraid to open their hearts because they expect a list of to-dos or a lecture on their failures.
However, the Lord never comes in with a list of "yucky stuff." Condemnation says, "Look what you did, you foolish girl." Conviction, powered by the Holy Spirit, asks, "Are you okay with that? Do you want to be living in that?"
Jesus speaks to us from who we are in Him. Through the lens of "Oneness," we realize we are never separate from His presence; only our ego and our thinking create the illusion of distance. Spiritual bravery is the act of stepping out of that illusion and into the warmth of His conversation.
We are never separate from His oneness. It is our thinking that separates us." —Kristen Wambach

Taking the Step Forward

Whether I am managing my three online businesses, caring for my 92-year-old mother, or recording the Interviewing Jesus Podcast, my feet hit the floor with one realization: He is right there.
Being "Spiritually Brave" means:
  1. Believing your perception: If the atmosphere in the room changes, pay attention.
  2. Leaving the conversation open: Ask the questions and wait for the answers—whether they come through the mail slot or a stranger on the street.
  3. Movement over perfection: God can redirect a moving vessel. Until a decision is made, nothing happens.
You are not "just a" anything. You are a child of the King of Kings, and the "C♡♡Lness" of the spirit is available to you today. It is time to unwrap the gift, put it on the table, and let the Holy Spirit show you what is inside.

[0:08] Em Tyler: Joining me on the podcast today is Kristen Wambach. And if you talk to her, she will tell you that Jesus has redefined what she used to say yes to. She's an Oregon farm girl who stumbled across the mystical nature of Christ—an author, podcaster, entrepreneur, and ordained pastor. There's nothing that Kristen loves more than to help you live spiritually brave, which is so exciting and definitely something that we are going to dive into a little bit more in a moment. But first of all, Kristen, thank you so much for joining me on the podcast today.
[0:39] Kristen Wambach: Good morning, and good morning or good afternoon to your listeners. Hello.
[0:45] Em Tyler: Yeah. So, first of all, we need to give massive kudos to Kristen because it's 5:00 a.m. currently for her. When we were looking for a time when we were both free, she bravely took the early slot and said yes. And just for those of you who aren't watching and can't see her, she is just looking alive, alert, awake, enthusiastic, and raring to go—which I would not be looking like that at 5:00 a.m. Now, so that we can get to know you a little bit better, why don't you start with just painting us a picture of day-to-day life—if there is such a thing as normal day-to-day life—so that we can create an image in our minds of where in the world you are and what you get up to.
[1:42] Kristen Wambach: Oh, lovely. Day-to-day life. I obviously get up early, and I always work out, and I love my cup of coffee. Jesus and I had the best conversations over my cup of coffee. I've said to him many times before, "I'm not going to heaven if they don't have coffee, avocado, and chocolate."
[2:04] Em Tyler: Oh, okay. Nice combo.
[2:11] Kristen Wambach: Oh, yeah. And I'm an entrepreneur. So, I have three online businesses, and so that keeps me very, very busy as a podcaster. So, I have a very full week. I also have the privilege of watching my granddaughter one to two days a week, and I have a 92-year-old mother. So, for those of you out there, I have some definitely care needs that are out there. I have to squish my day and be really good at blocking my time. But Jesus is on my heart. I open my eyes and there he is. He's right there. Put my feet on the floor. He's right there. Whether I'm in a good mood, a questionable mood, whatever, he always wants to have a conversation.
[3:04] Em Tyler: I love that. Tell us about the short version of your journey of getting to know Jesus. Did you straight away have this intimate relationship with him where you were so aware of his presence, or was that part of the journey?
[3:43] Kristen Wambach: Well, it depends on if you ask me pre-puberty or after puberty. I was raised in an evangelical home. I knew Jesus; I got baptized when I was eight. Growing up in my 20s, I wasn't really talking to him much. Then I made some choices. I was married before, I had an abortion—so that's just jumping right into it. I wasn't asking his opinion on my life choices, and those choices compromised who I was. I got married again, have four sons, and all of a sudden I realized that my deposit level on the inside of me wasn't getting filled up. That's when I realized I was broken. Holy Spirit so faithfully drew me back. The first thing Holy Spirit did is break through that hard shell of "boy, I messed up" and loved me and healed me.
[5:43] Em Tyler: For people who are running on autopilot or afraid of opening up the inside, what would your advice be for those who feel like inviting Jesus into the conversation is scary?
[6:55] Kristen Wambach: Through many years of hanging out with him, the one thing that I have confidently noticed 100% of the time: the Lord never comes in with his list, his to-do sheet. He never comes in and says, "We really need to talk about this." He never points out my stuff. It's my heart's desire that says, "Can we talk about this?" He's ready to listen when we're ready to talk.
[8:18] Em Tyler: I love that reminder that it's already been dealt with on the cross. But what about conviction? Do you think the Holy Spirit ever prompts us for our own good?
[9:23] Kristen Wambach: Through relationship, he always speaks to me from who I am in him. He's always seeing my best self. We are never separate from his oneness; it’s our thinking that separates us. Our ego separates us. If I get touchy with my husband, I feel out of harmony. Holy Spirit will eventually go, "Hm, are you okay with that? Do you want to be living in that?" Instead of the behavior or the outburst, he gets into, "Well, where did that come from?"
[11:47] Em Tyler: Have you always found it easy to discern the Holy Spirit's voice, or did you have to learn?
[11:59] Kristen Wambach: I had to learn. In my evangelical upbringing, Holy Spirit was written in ink in your Bible. That was about as far as we knew him—he wasn't a real person. I learn by hanging out. I made a choice to start hanging out for 10 minutes a day. I really learned how to hear the Lord's voice when I was journaling. I have 30 years of journals. As soon as you write the words down, they become seen; they become a record on the earth.
[15:27] Kristen Wambach (continued): It is so simple. If you take off your shoes and walk in the grass, everything changes right there. God knows how to talk to you in a language that you understand. If you like nature, you might hear the stories of creation through a tree. You just release your thoughts and enjoy who you are with him.
[17:54] Em Tyler: That is such a key truth. We aren't supposed to look identical. He wants a vibrant, intimate relationship with you. And the power of journaling neurologically—there is so much power with pen and paper. So, what happened as you grew in this area and started sharing your experience of "seeing in the spirit" with others?
[21:50] Kristen Wambach: A huge, slightly different response. Love opens up to the hungry heart. One day I couldn't see, and the next day I could. People around me in leadership didn't understand. There was apprehension. But I always trusted Jesus—why would he show me this stuff if he leads us into all truth? He doesn't give us a spirit of fear. I had to mature and realize I was asking advice from people who had never experienced it. You wouldn't ask someone who has been single for 40 years for marriage advice. After years of silence, I grew in confidence to communicate the spirit in a way that makes sense.
[28:16] Em Tyler: I wonder how much of it comes back to childlike faith. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." We get so caught up in understanding that we lose the ability to encounter the fullness.
[33:37] Kristen Wambach: May I tell you a profound testimony from your own backyard? I have a dear friend from Bath, England. I had an encounter—a spiritual movie. I was in a black British taxi, and there was a "Jeeves-like" character carrying a crown on a pillow. He took me up stairs into a building with large columns. I told my friend on Zoom, and she giggled and said, "Kristen, you just described the opening of Parliament to the tee." Six months later, I was miraculously in London.
[38:22] Kristen Wambach (continued): I went to Westminster at 4:00 p.m. on a Thursday. They were closed. A lady asked me, "Are you interested in politics?" She handed me a ticket for a career tour. As we walked the path, my friend started quaking in the glory of God. I told her, "Tell your body it can stand in the glory," and it stopped. We went into the House of Lords—the room with the red upholstery and the throne. It was exactly where the "Jeeves" guy took me in my encounter. I sat there and thought, "Who needs to see in the spirit? Look at the glory of God that made the way."
[45:25] Em Tyler: "I'm just a western girl." I think people listening say, "I'm just a stay-at-home mom" or "I'm just a normal person." But we aren't "just a" anything. We are children of the King.
[51:35] Em Tyler: If there was one thing to encourage people with in terms of being spiritually brave, what would it be?
[51:52] Kristen Wambach: Believe what Jesus shows you. Believe your own perception. He leads you into all truth. Until a decision is made, nothing happens. Even if you take a wrong turn, God "redirects" like Google Maps. Take one step forward. Ask a simple question. And on the days where you don't feel like it, go out and hug a tree. I guarantee creation will speak to you.
[55:53] Em Tyler: Kristen, for people who want to find out more about your book or podcast, where can they find you?
[56:05] Kristen Wambach: My website is KristenWambach.com. I wrote The Unfinished Book—it’s a memoir of the journey from being spiritually blind to God opening my eyes. You can find me on social media just by putting my name in.
[57:09] Em Tyler: Kristen, would you do us the honor of wrapping things up in prayer?
[57:17] Kristen Wambach: Absolutely. Father God... unwrap the gift. Put it on the table and let Holy Spirit show you what's inside. I bless you. Amen.
[58:53] Em Tyler: Amen. Kristen, thank you so much for joining us. Let’s keep growing and going together.

Final Summary: The Spiritually BRAVE Mandate

In this landmark discussion on the Grow & Go podcast, Kristen Wambach—an ordained pastor, author, and seasoned transformation coach—dismantles the idea that spiritual intimacy is reserved for the "super-spiritual." Drawing from 30 years of documented dialogue with the Holy Spirit and her own journey from spiritual blindness to mystical clarity, Kristen establishes a new standard for modern faith: Relational Oneness.
The core of the message centers on the Architecture of an Encounter. Using her miraculous "Parliament Testimony" as a global authority marker, Kristen proves that when we value the unseen through tools like journaling and intentional silence, the "seen" world begins to align with heavenly blueprints. This isn't just theory; it is a practical lifestyle for the entrepreneur, the caregiver, and the seeker alike. Kristen’s "Spiritually BRAVE" framework empowers you to move past the ego’s illusion of separation and step into a vibrant, high-frequency conversation with Jesus that rewrites your daily reality.

PRESS RELEASE
Bridging Heaven and Earth: Acclaimed Spiritual Authority Kristen Wambach Featured on "Grow & Go" Podcast
CORVALLIS, OR | July 16, 2025 — Kristen Wambach, the visionary host of the Interviewing Jesus Podcast and a seasoned transformation coach with over 30 years of public ministry, was recently featured on the Grow & Go Podcast with Em Tyler. The episode, titled "The Architecture of an Encounter," provides a masterclass on navigating the "seen and unseen" realms to live a life that is authentically Spiritually BRAVE.
In a conversation that moved from the practicalities of entrepreneurship to high-level mystical experiences, Wambach shared a profound testimony that has become a hallmark of her global authority. Dubbed the "Parliament Encounter," Wambach detailed a prophetic vision she received six months prior to visiting London—one that accurately blueprint-ed the Opening of Parliament ceremony down to the specific colors of the House of Lords.
"I am just a western girl who stumbled across the mystical nature of Christ," said Wambach during the interview. "But what I’ve learned in 30 years of documenting my conversations with the Holy Spirit is that God speaks in a language you already understand. Whether you are a CEO or a stay-at-home mom, you have an invitation to sit at the table of supernatural wisdom."
Key Highlights of the Episode Include:
  • The 30-Year Record: How Kristen’s three decades of journaling serves as a "Book of Remembrance" (Malachi 3) and a neurological tool for spiritual discernment.
  • Conviction vs. Condemnation: A clear theological breakdown of why God never approaches the believer with a "to-do list of failures," but rather an invitation to Oneness.
  • The Power of the Redirect: Using the analogy of "Divine Google Maps," Wambach explains how movement and decision-making allow for supernatural redirection.
  • Daily Rhythms: Insights into how Wambach balances three online businesses and caregiving for her 92-year-old mother while maintaining an unbroken dialogue with Jesus.
Host Em Tyler noted, "Kristen has a unique way of weaving personal experience with biblical truth, making her insights relatable for listeners from all walks of life. She truly carries the heart of a pastor and a mentor."
The episode is now available on all major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Substack.

BEYOND THE THRESHOLD
x
I believe that the gap between Heaven and Earth is not a distance to be traveled, but a threshold to be crossed. My faith isn’t found in "stale bread" religion, but in a face-to-face, relational reality with a God who is better than our current bandwidth can imagine.
The Pillars of Our Experience:
  • The Restoration of All Things: I believe no story is too broken for the goodness of God. From the depths of the "Field of Blood" to the heights of the celestial courts, His heart is set on our complete wholeness.
  • The Safety of Belonging: For the Servant heart and the Mercy soul, I believe the Father is building a "Sure House"—a place where your unique design is celebrated, and your presence is essential to the family of God.
  • Redemptive DNA: I believe every person carries a God-inspired signature. By uncovering our Redemptive Gifts, we move from the "poverty of striving" into the wealthy identity of an heir.
  • Relational Discernment: I believe in a "Rhema" connection—a living, breathing conversation with Jesus that provides the supernatural wisdom to navigate our actual, messy lives.
I believe in the "Dangerous Hope" that shires up the GATES of our lives, ensuring that neither height nor depth can separate us from the love that first called us Spiritually BRAVE.
