Interviews Broken to Beautiful

Host Jesikah Wells

THE POWER TO CREATE: BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN
SURVIVAL AND FAITH

As an investigative journalist of the spirit, I’ve spent 30 years documenting the intersection of human struggle and divine intervention. Recently, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Jessica on the Broken to Beautiful podcast to discuss a theme that sits at the very core of my mission: Harnessing the Power to Create.
We often view faith as a static shield—something we hold up to survive the storm. But true faith is an engine of creation. It is the active, moving partnership between our "yes" and God’s infinite "I AM." In our conversation, we peeled back the layers of what it means to stop merely surviving and start building a life that mirrors the restoration of Heaven.
Restoration isn't just a return to what was; it's the divine upgrade that happens when we move with God."
—Kristen Wambach
Faith Over Addiction Podcast Guest Kristen Wambach the Power of Identity and Spiritual Safety

The Myth of "Sucking It Up"
For years, my internal mantra was "Suck it up, Kristen." As a high-capacity leader and a mother of four boys, productivity was my armor. But the Holy Spirit gently corrected me: “If you continue to suck it up, you aren’t inviting Me in to help you deal with it.”
Many of us are stuck in "survival mode," where we shove disappointment down and hope it disappears. However, disappointment is often a signal that we are leaning on our own finite strength. Stepping into faith requires the "Spiritually Brave" act of being vulnerable with God—admitting where we are broken so He can create something beautiful from the ashes.

Restoration Through Movement

One of the most profound shifts in my journey was realizing that God rewards movement, not fear. Whether it was asking for $800 as a young mother or launching a global podcast, the manifestation always followed the action.
We often wait for the restoration (the money, the healing, the relationship) before we start "creating." But as I shared in the episode, restoration is frequently found within the creative process. When my husband and I lost our farm and business, it was the simple act of creating a bird feeder pulley system—answering a small, personal need—that opened the door for a new season of entrepreneurial blessing. If it serves you, it will bless others. That is the economy of the Kingdom.

the Sticky Note Activation

I want to challenge you to move from being a spectator of faith to a creator with God. Right now, in your mind’s eye, imagine three sticky notes hanging before you. Don’t overthink it. What are the three words Holy Spirit is whispering to your heart today?
Speak them out loud. Write them down. By doing so, you are taking a record from the Spirit realm and anchoring it into the earth. You aren’t just surviving your day; you are creating a workspace for the miraculous.

EPISODE TAKEAWAYS

  • Self-Forgiveness as Growth: Disappointment is often tied to our own high expectations; learning to forgive yourself is the first step toward spiritual maturity.
  • Spiritual Senses: Everyone has the ability to develop their spiritual sight, hearing, and perception through consistent relational practice.
  • The "Ask" Frequency: Faith isn't about "pumping yourself up"; it's the natural result of knowing the One you are asking.

[0:23] Jessica: Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to the Broken to Beautiful podcast where we believe that the Lord will give you beauty for ashes. Sis, if this is your first time tuning in, welcome. If you've ever felt unseen, unheard, not quite sure how to begin again, sis, this is your safe space and welcome to the community.
[0:47] Jessica: All right. In this community, we believe in all things Jesus Christ. And we also believe in the scripture where it says he will give us beauty for ashes. That is what we stand on. Okay, if you are already tuned in and a listener, welcome back. We are in season 3 of the Broken to Beautiful podcast where we're talking about now faith. Faith to believe God now for the things that he has spoken in this present time.
[1:21] Jessica: And today I have a lovely guest to talk about walking in faith, harnessing the power to create. Today's guest, Kristen Wambach, knows what it means to walk in faith and harness the power to create. She has experienced firsthand how saying yes to Jesus transforms everything. With a passion for storytelling and teaching, she helps others taste and see that the Lord is good.
[1:53] Jessica: So, we're diving into what it means to live spiritually brave, tuning into God, embracing his spirit, and stepping into our divine creativity. And with 200 podcast episodes and another book on the way, she is still cheering all of us on. Let's dive in and welcome Kristen Wambach to the Broken to Beautiful podcast. Hi, Kristen.
[2:15] Kristen Wambach: Hello. Welcome, welcome. I'm so happy to be here.
[2:20] Jessica: Oh my gosh, I'm so happy to have you. Oh my goodness, your testimony is so inspiring. It's so upbeat and uplifting. And I love how when you reached out to me, immediately my spirit just jumped and I said, "Mine, too." It's just kind of like, look at that beautiful face.
[2:40] Kristen Wambach: Oh, thank you. Thank you.
[2:45] Jessica: Look at that beautiful face. Thank you. Yes. I just I'm so happy to have you. So, let's dive right in. You described your journey as a transformation on steroids. Oh my goodness. Yes. What can you just share with us a little bit of that and I guess our pivotal moment when your "yes" to Jesus completely changed your life?
[3:16] Kristen Wambach: That's that—okay we got to jump in and that is a huge question. Let me try to put it in a nutshell here for you. So when you love God—I mean he introduces himself to you. You love him. You get to know him. You develop a prayer life. You're reading scriptures and things just gel. He touches you. He heals you from the inside out. And you just—oh my gosh, you learn how to worship. You learn how to lift your hands. You learn how to dance. To me all these things are breaking out of things we called "normal" or "this is what I expected from God."
[4:00] Kristen Wambach: So all that changes. Well, when I say transformation on steroids, it's amazing what the love of God reveals. But nobody prepares you for that. All of a sudden your spiritual eyes are opened. Yes. And what do you do with that, and what do you do when the leaders around you haven't a clue? That's good. Do you believe God? Do you believe that he leads you into all truth? Or do you say, "Oh, this is too weird and too spiritually out there." Everybody has that choice. Right.
[4:48] Jessica: Oh my goodness. I love how you describe that. Those are questions that you have to ask yourself because are you going to follow God or follow your leader, like you said, who does not have a clue? You know, sometimes man doesn't have answers.
[5:05] Kristen Wambach: Yeah. And one of the big lessons I learned in my personal growth was I can't put expectations on somebody to share with me or teach me if they have no experience.
[5:23] [Music]
[5:24] Kristen Wambach: Experience. There's just nothing I can demand or nothing I can expect. And boy, that was a tough season.
[5:38] Jessica: No, I can identify. I remember I left my previous church—yeah, left there—and I thought that I was going to find a new church. So I'm praying and I'm worshiping, I'm asking God okay where are you sending me next? And he didn't send me anywhere. And you know, to society's norm, they probably thought I was crazy or I just left church. I hadn't left God. He hadn't led me to another place to worship. I had to use that time to really tap in, get closer to him and see what his next move for me was. It was all him.
[6:15] Jessica: It wasn't rushing into another church to become a member and to serve and be a servant; he wanted me. And it didn't stop anything. I mean, even now, he uses me however he pleases. I can be in a Target and he'll give me a word for someone or just a hug or whatever. That's how he moves.
[6:40] Kristen Wambach: It is. And vice-versa. I've been in places most unsuspectedly and someone will give me a word. It's like, "Hey, can I prophesy to you?" And I'm like, "Oh, okay. Sure." You know, I listen. I love it.
[6:58] Jessica: I just love how he moves and how he works even beyond the four walls of the church house. I'll say that. So, let me ask you another question. Many people—and I say this because I was once there, right—many people struggle with disappointment and survival mode. So I'm asking you, you know, because this is your lane: How do you break free from that and truly step into faith?
[7:30] Kristen Wambach: Very good question. When I hear the word "disappointment," I attach it to myself. I found myself more disappointed in me, my behavior, my actions. And there's the challenge, right? Um, because if I don't act right, if I get upset with my husband, if I use words with my sons, I have a hard time dealing with—I'm disappointed in me. I know how to ask for forgiveness. I know how to do that with God. I know how to do it with them. But sometimes forgiving myself is the place that I need growth. That's where I struggle.
[8:30] Kristen Wambach: And that's where I need Jesus to come in and say, "Okay, we've heard this. We know where your heart is. Now, why are you hanging on to it?"
[8:42] Jessica: Yes.
[8:44] Kristen Wambach: I get into a deep-dive on why am I hanging on to it, and I have that conversation with the Lord. Then he releases it from my thoughts, he releases it from—if I have any body memory of it attaching itself. Because sometimes when you get upset with yourself, it will attach itself in your body and your emotions and you'll feel tenser and you'll carry that with you. So that is one of the ways that I deal with disappointment in my own life in personal growth. Giving it to God.
[9:26] Jessica: And you said something there about being disappointed in yourself because that happens. One of the lessons that I had to learn—and I want to say I won't say it's one of the hardest ones—but one of the lessons that I had to learn was to give myself grace that I am human. Okay? He is God. He is good. I am human. My little finite mind cannot compute or think or measure up to what he is doing, and to give myself grace in the mistakes. Oh my goodness. Like you said, take it to him.
[10:15] Kristen Wambach: And sometimes my own words connected me to disappointment. I used to say—because I'm very productive and a go-getter and out there—I used to shove my feelings down. And the words I used were "Suck it up, Kristen. Suck it up." But after years and years of that, the Holy Spirit finally said, "Why do you say that to yourself? If you continue to suck it up, you're not inviting me in to help you deal with it, be healed by it, grow through it."
[11:00] Jessica: My goodness, it's so sweet when you invite him into it. Yeah, I'm telling you it’s a relief and a release because like you said, you know, we try to do it ourselves and do it our own way. But when you invite—and that's another thing, learning to invite him into every situation. One of the things God told me early on my journey was, "I am in everything." And I mean, it's literally a scripture. "I'll be with you... if you make your bed in hell, I'm there." Everything.
[11:43] Jessica: And I had to grasp that and really learn like, Lord, you're even here when I'm making a mistake. Oh my God, I am sorry. I repent. I repent, but I know that you have not left me.
[12:00] Kristen Wambach: Mhm. It’s so comforting.
[12:07] Jessica: All right. So, what does it mean—you often talk about being spiritually brave. What does that mean, to live spiritually brave?
[12:17] [Laughter]
[12:19] Kristen Wambach: As I said earlier, believing that he leads you into all truth. You have to know that when he reveals something to you—whether because when we say perception it can be seeing, it can be feeling, it can be touch—there's so many ways to perceive the Lord. Right? My first area of development was my seeing. We all have the ability; I'm not any super special. We all have the ability to develop our spiritual senses.
[13:07] [Music]
[13:09] Kristen Wambach: And to be spiritually brave, meaning I believe God's going to show me and I walk with him and I hold his hand in the spirit when he is showing me something. Now sometimes after I've had an encounter, I'll say, "Um, hello. Can you tell me what that was about?" And he will direct me to a scripture. That seems to be a way that I learn. I have an encounter with Jesus, he points me to a scripture, and then he unpacks it to me. Other people are different, but that is a pattern that he uses with me.
[13:58] Kristen Wambach: Over time, I have developed and learned that I don't always have to know why. I don't have to have all the explanations. Therefore, the strength of my relationship—and because I'm an avid journaler—when I write it down, it feels like it's sitting in a safe compartment. And as soon as I've matured to a time that he wants to unpack it, I can go, "I remember being here. Oh. Oh. Oh." And all those notes come flooding together for such a time as this.
[14:41] Jessica: Oh my gosh. I love that because similar to that, same way. He'll give me a dream and some dreams are for right now... and then some I write all of them down. Sometimes he'll send me to search the word, search the meaning of a thing, and then there's other times where he'll just speak this is what it means. Like you said, it's like putting it in a journal. It's like putting it in a safe. Um learning to sit with it and receive the revelation. Because being a novice in this at first, when he first started like you say opening up my spiritual eyes, learning that I could see in the spirit and him showing me things... sometimes I would take things at face value and that was like "No, it's not what it appears to be. It's never what it appears to be."
[15:44] Kristen Wambach: Right. He grows us with that grace. Yeah. And he knows we're curious. Mhm. You know, spiritually, I'm curious. "How does this work? Where do I push the buttons to get this to work in my life and the people that I care about?" And he's so gracious in that area. I love him.
[16:12] Jessica: So, let's talk about—well, we kind of talked about it—you often describe the coolness of the spirit, right? And the beauty of learning to communicate with God in this way. Because I grew up in a religious background and it was just pray, pray, pray. And I had to learn in relationship with Christ how to pray, what I listen for when I pray, sometimes how to just sit and let him give me a download and pour into my spirit. I can describe growing up that way as "looking for God."
[17:02] Jessica: So, I'll tell you the first time God wanted to visit me, right? I was working with my therapist at the time who was also a woman of God and she just stopped in the middle of what she was saying. She said, "The Lord wants to visit you." And when I tell you Kristen, I was afraid. I went to bed scared that whole week. Until finally in my prayer, I got down beside my bed. I said, "Okay, Lord. You can come visit me. Just please do not scare me."
[17:35] Jessica: But that's how it is, coming from that. I thought God was this tyrant that he was going to come with fire and just a loud booming voice and scare the living life out of me. I did not know what to expect. I was so afraid. Like, seriously afraid. But when he came, I felt so much love. So much love.
[18:08] Kristen Wambach: Mhm.
[18:13] Jessica: And I thank him for that because he knew what I needed in that moment. Yeah. So I had to learn that this is a God I can communicate with. And like you said, the coolness. Sometimes I could be doing something and he'll drop something in my spirit or he'll say something and I'm like, "Lord, what are you saying?" And I'm like, "Oh, God does have a sense of humor." Oh my goodness. And he can relate. He knows exactly where we are and what we need.
[18:41] Kristen Wambach: Absolutely.
[18:44] Jessica: Yeah. So, you believe that we all have the power to create whether it's relationships, finances, or self-care. Tell us how do we tap into that divine creativity? Help us out, Kristen.
[19:00] Kristen Wambach: I am waiting for Holy Spirit just to pull a story, an experience. Yeah. Ah okay. Um, so I'm going to share with you and your audience the very first time there was a manifestation of my prayers. This is one and I basically know nothing except for "Okay, I'm going to believe God," right? So I'm a young mom. I have four sons. Help me Jesus.
[19:44] Jessica: Mhm.
[19:46] Kristen Wambach: Under about the age eight or nine. They're two years apart. Oh my gosh. And we joined a home group and we're going to home group and this lady, she shows me into her garage. She has this really cute kitchen cabinet. I mean it is just country cute and I just—I loved it. I loved it. And we lived on a farm at that time and I love to decorate and design. And I went home—and I'd never asked God for anything. I didn't have that in our relationship. We were a young family and she was asking $800 for it. Um, hello.
[20:49] [Laughter]
[20:50] Kristen Wambach: And so I remember praying. I went, "God, I'd really like to have that cabinet. It looks so cute in my kitchen. I'm asking you for $800." Oh my gosh, that just seemed huge. It seemed like the heavens opened up and this was such a big thing. "Did you hear what she asked for?" You know?
[21:19] Kristen Wambach: A couple weeks later, I got a knock on the back door and I answered it and um he goes, "Hello." Guy introduced himself and he goes, "I work for the railroad company." Now, our farm was built before the railroad went through in 1873. We always called it the train house. There was a train right there. He was from the train company, comes up to me and goes, "We are replacing all of the railroad ties. I was wondering if we could bring our debris and if we could make a burn pile on your farm." And guess how much they were going to pay us?
[22:17] Jessica: Are you serious? Oh my god.
[22:20] Kristen Wambach: $800.
[22:22] Jessica: That's my guy.
[22:26] Kristen Wambach: $800. Oh my gosh. Oh, I was so excited. 800 bucks. Nobody around me had ever talked to me about the fact that he increases you, that he increases you in all these areas of your life.
[22:53] Kristen Wambach: Oh my gosh. More God. More God. I do want to share with you the end of that particular story. Okay? Because that kitchen cabinet is not in my kitchen. Oh my goodness. There was more that God wanted to do in my heart over that. My husband—we have a young family—hadn't had a new pair of glasses in far too long. So, we used that money—it was my choice—to buy him two sets of brand new glasses.
[23:39] Kristen Wambach: But today where the treasure is is in the story, right? That he heard me. There was a response from him. There was a manifestation of his glory. And then he thought, "Well, let's see if we can stretch her heart just a little bit."
[24:04] Jessica: Right. That is so... but that's the coolness right there. I mean, and he already knew what you were going to do with it. He wanted to see, you know. Oh my gosh. Sometimes it's as simple as opening our mouths and asking. I too have never been one to just ask God for, "Oh, Lord, I need this." Up until recently, I'm like, "Father, I know that you know what I need. I'm just asking you to do it." I write it down and I leave it. And then I often come back and check off when it's done. "He did it. Done. He did it."
[25:12] Kristen Wambach: So we have the power in our mouths. Sometimes it's just the ask. And then there's this transference in relationship. That's where faith comes in. It's not because I had to pump myself up in faith to ask. It's in the process of asking him and knowing him that faith just comes in on the scene. It's like the woman with the issue of the blood. She goes, "I'm just going to grab a hold of that hem of his garment." When she was grabbing, she was not looking at the 12 years; she goes, "I know it's in him." Right?
[26:12] Jessica: Right. Oh my gosh. I love it. So, not only the ask, but the faith in the asking is what you're saying. Open your mouth and just ask for what you need. God already knows what's in our hearts. Sometimes we're afraid to ask for it. I know myself, one of the things that he had to deal with me for is just "think bigger."
[26:40] Jessica: Because I'm fine with just being "Jess." When he called me to this podcast, I thought that I had to have everything right then and there, like, okay, I need the $500 mic, I need the studio. You know what goes into podcasting, Kristen. I thought that I had to have it all. And what he was saying to me in that was "Just go." Mhm. And the doors that he has opened from me just believing him, obeying, trusting, and just going is blowing my mind at this very moment.
[27:48] Kristen Wambach: And I do want to acknowledge in your story and in my story there was a movement there. There's always a movement. Because there are times where supernaturally finances or what I ask for just comes, and other times it's in the moving—me taking action—that causes it to be added to me. Because he wants to build me up. He wants me to learn possibly new life skills so that it can come to pass.
[28:49] Jessica: Listen, that’s so profound. I literally saw somewhere someone said that "God rewards movement, not fear," and I'm like oh my gosh. That’s confirmation right there. Sometimes we just have to take that first step.
[29:22] Kristen Wambach: And in movement again, he is always opening up the conversation. He's always teaching us about himself, us, who we are in him, and how to create in that relationship. We move in the relationship just like you did with the podcast. "Oh, here we go. More life skills to learn so that he can bring relationship and community to us."
[30:10] Jessica: It’s the movement. Wow. All right. I was going to ask you about the entrepreneurial spirit, but we already pretty much talked about that in the movement. You can’t move anyway.
[30:38] Kristen Wambach: Can I tell you another little story in that entrepreneur thing? So, I have five online stores and some of them are digital stuff. But when you say entrepreneur, you think "Well, what do I have that people would want to purchase?" Well, what have you created that serves your life?
[31:10] Jessica: Yeah.
[31:18] Kristen Wambach: My husband and I—I like to feed wild birds, right? And I said to him one day, "You know what? I'd really like to put a hummingbird feeder right here by my office window where I sit and I can really enjoy it." So, he created this dandy little pulley system. Oh my goodness. That I can drop a hummingbird feeder. Well, a few months later, I went, "Girlfriend, you can sell that. If it serves you, it'll bless people."
[32:08] Jessica: That’s it. There’s a word right there. "If it serves you, it will bless people."
[32:12] Kristen Wambach: And so my whole productivity person here found all the parts and pieces so we could put it together. I created the packaging. Now we have four different types of the pulley system because people have squirrels and raccoons and bears in their yard. And we sell them all across the country. And he—from just a little hummingbird feeder hanging outside my office window.
[33:05] Jessica: Oh my goodness. I have to keep saying it: That’s my God. That’s what he does.
[33:11] Kristen Wambach: And the backstory—there’s always a backstory. The backstory is that train-house farm I was talking about, my husband and I had an auto repair business and we lost that business and that farm, everything. But this is God’s restoration. Yeah. Because I always knew that God wanted us to be in business as a couple. So I may be talking about pulley systems, but what it is, is a restoration.
[34:16] Jessica: That’s exactly what it is. I'm sitting here thinking about my own testimony. It comes when we create. I remember last year, the Lord gave me a vision of my bathroom all decked out in turquoise tiles. And what he gave me from that was the restoration of Israel. I started my podcast that November 2024. And here I am today walking and living out the restoration that he is bringing to my life.
[35:36] Kristen Wambach: And that movement—which is you and I and your listeners right now—there’s a frequency, there’s a prompting. Holy Spirit is releasing an answer right now. And we just have to grab hold of it, remember it’s feeling, it’s perception, write it down, and then take another step.
[36:06] Jessica: Yes, I love that, Kristen. Because I know, and I can speak for all women because I am a woman, but sometimes we believe that restoration comes when he sends the money, or the husband, or the promotion. But God is calling a lot of his daughters to create.
[36:40] [Music]
[36:46] Kristen Wambach: Absolutely. To believe in ourselves. Yeah. Because I forgot. Young mom, bazillion boys...
[37:04] Jessica: I'm a boy mom, too. I know.
[37:04] Kristen Wambach: I mean, it’s a bazillion boys, you know. But when I started having babies, that’s when I realized I don't think I really like me, right? When I'm looking at this other living being that is totally trusting me to have it all together. And my husband would look at me like "I can’t help you with that." Well, again, hello Kristen. Let’s learn again. I can’t put my expectations for healing on my husband.
[38:17] Jessica: That’s good. You can’t. I literally had that conversation a day ago. Healing comes from God. Him and him alone. Sometimes he will use people to jumpstart the process, but it comes from him initially. Not from your husband, your best friend, or your career. I had a chance to talk to a young lady who was an atheist. She had achieved everything, but was still empty. God has to send the healing. It’s not in things.
[39:28] Kristen Wambach: It actually takes more faith to keep God away from us than it is to invite him to walk with us.
[39:50] Jessica: Believe that. We think faith is just for the positive things, but we use our faith to build walls.
[40:03] Kristen Wambach: Yeah. And keep people out.
[40:10] Jessica: Yes. I was so good at just cutting people off. If I felt like you hurt me, or were going to hurt me, I could walk away, Kristen, and not think twice about it. But the Lord had to heal my heart in order for him to show me that that’s not the way. Don’t just build up these walls out of self-preservation. "Oh, you hurt me? Okay, ghost. Never hear from me again." But he had to teach me that wasn't his love.
[41:20] Jessica: So I know that you are a spiritual leader, right? What’s a common obstacle that you see with people that they face in their faith walk and how do you help them overcome it?
[41:54] Kristen Wambach: May I tell you a story that will answer that?
[42:02] Jessica: Listen, that’s what we’re here for.
[42:12] Kristen Wambach: So many times in inner healing coaching, people come and they have this perspective of God: "Well, I might be a smoker and I might do this and that." They come with their whole list of all the things that they assume God is going to address before he can get close to them. They assume they have to get rid of all these things first.
[42:47] Kristen Wambach: So years ago, I was a director of a Girl Scout summer camp. I had to hire the staff. There was one young lady and her name was Bonnie. Oh, she was a spitfire. Her mother brought her to me like, "Please just take her off my hands." And I loved Bonnie right away. She was marvelous. There was nothing that you could get past Bonnie and she touched so many lives.
[44:21] Kristen Wambach: Well, about five or seven years down the line, she’d come in to visit her mom, whose office was in the same building as my church office. When she had those tough days, she’d come in, sit down in my office and she’d dump all her stuff. All of her stuff. I allowed her to do that a few times because she needed to know that she was being heard.
[45:31] Kristen Wambach: And then about the fourth time, I say, "Uh-uh, wait a minute." She goes, "What?" I go, "We’re going to go in and sit down and be quiet in the prayer room." And she goes, "Okay." I said, "The only thing that you need to be willing to do is have a conversation with Jesus. You don't have to believe him. You don't have to let him save you. Nothing. Just be willing to have a conversation." She goes, "I can do that."
[46:29] Kristen Wambach: So we sat down, closed our eyes. I described stepping through a doorway. All of a sudden it switched and she goes, "Um, I can see this... and I feel this." And what Jesus did is Jesus took her back to when she was a child in an abusive situation and used to hide behind the couch. And she never thought God was there to rescue her. And what she discovered is that God was right there behind the couch with her.
[47:35] Kristen Wambach: And she’s weeping and crying and God just touched her and healed her. About 20 or 30 minutes passed by and we stopped what we called prayer. She opened her eyes and looked at me and she goes, "I was in heaven, wasn't I?" And I just smiled at her and said, "Yes, you were." God just healed her right there. She didn't have any language; she just believed she could have a conversation with Jesus that day. He didn't point out one shortcoming. Not one. He just wanted her to know that she had always been there. She’d never been alone.
[48:50] Jessica: That’s my guy. Oh my gosh. He’s so gracious. Sometimes that’s all it is. Mhm.
[49:17] Jessica: And I also believe sometimes as we mature, sometimes he takes us through a process to teach us some things. But he knows what Bonnie needed right in that moment. And I think that’s important for my listeners to know that God always knows. He’s never left you.
[50:05] Jessica: There are some things that I took to God when I first started seeking relationship. He started to show me things that were attached to me and my family line. I knelt down beside my bed and I said, 'Lord, I don't want any of it. Take it away.' And his response was, 'I'm going to do it bit by bit.' That was almost 5 years ago. And now I see why. Every piece healed, every piece delivered bit by bit.
[51:12] Kristen Wambach: Well, he wanted you to experience the story. Because when you experience the story, then you can share the story and the hope and the deliverance is released.
[52:17] Jessica: So, if you could leave our listeners—well, first we like to play a game here, okay? Just a little "this or that." And after that, you can leave our listeners with one key takeaway. Just as long as you end it in prayer. Okay. All right. "This or That: Kristen Wambach Edition."
[53:03] Jessica: Walking by faith or seeing the full plan up front?
[53:15] [Laughter]
[53:21] Kristen Wambach: Because I'm a developed seer, I love to see things up front.
[53:34] Jessica: Yeah, I can understand that. All right. Early morning prayer or late night revelations?
[53:48] Kristen Wambach: In the morning before I get out of bed. And when I put my feet on my rug—I have a special rug that I encountered in the spirit. Every time I step on it, it reminds me that I'm a friend with God.
[54:16] Jessica: Oh, I love that. A rug! Journaling prayers or speaking declarations?
[54:49] Kristen Wambach: Both. If I write it down, it frames it so that I can speak it and remember it.
[55:08] Jessica: Spontaneous adventures or well-planned trips?
[55:19] Kristen Wambach: Spontaneous.
[55:22] Jessica: Yes. Oh, I love that too. Okay. All right. Well, thank you for sharing again. I appreciate you on the show. Give our listeners a key takeaway.
[55:47] Kristen Wambach: I have a podcast as well and a lot of times what I do in what we call this "pregnant moment"... we all can feel his spirit and his encouragement right now. And we just want to stay right there in that hope that you can feel. Just stay right there and allow your senses to feel it.
[56:30] Kristen Wambach: In this pregnant moment, Holy Spirit is going to take three sticky notes. One, two, three. In your imagination, allow Holy Spirit—there you go—you might be driving the car to work and all of a sudden there’s three sticky notes hanging just underneath your rearview mirror. I want you to immediately say "There’s three words." There’s a word on each sticky note. What is the word? Don't think about it too much. Let it just be a spontaneous breath. Say it out loud so that you can hear yourself and it creates a place of remembrance.
[58:04] Kristen Wambach: Now what God has done is between you and him, you have this little sticky note that’s important. "I want to talk to you about this word." And what it has done is something has come from the spirit realm. You have just taken a record from heaven and it is now on the earth. And there’s dominion, there’s hope, there’s healing. You don't have to go ask permission. All you have to do is say, "Okay, God. Let's talk about this."
[59:23] Jessica: I have mine. I'm going to go write them down as soon as we're done. Would you like me to pray over that, Jessica?
[59:36] Jessica: Yes, please.
[59:38] Kristen Wambach: Father God, I just thank you for the opportunity to sit in a community of spiritually brave individuals. We release a spirit of honor over what Holy Spirit just spoke into our hearts on those sticky notes. And we invite you, Lord, to bring those things into fruition. And Father, in that place of honor, we choose to set aside a little bit of time to have that conversation.
[1:00:34] Kristen Wambach: That time could be driving on the way home, or a 15-minute walk. Put your phone down and have a conversation with God. And Holy Spirit, I thank you that you continue to marinate that presence that was entwined in each one of those words on their heart. Thank you for your faithfulness. And oh, we love to say in Jesus' name.
[1:01:41] Kristen Wambach: And when I say in Jesus' name, I always see him sign it. "I'm here. There’s my signature."
[1:01:59] Jessica: Thank you so much, Kristen. Thank you so much for inviting me. I wore pink just for you!
[1:02:12] Jessica: I saw that when you came on! I said, "Look at us coordinating." I said, "She is a pink girl."
[1:02:16] Kristen Wambach: I am! For this, the Lord has been just pulling magenta. When you’re a mom of boys, you got to pull out the pink.
[1:02:40] Jessica: Exactly. All right. Well, Kristen, I appreciate you for your time sharing your wisdom. Hey, listen, like, share with the woman you feel that needs this. Subscribe if you haven't subscribed. If you want to share your word, I am praying for you. If you feel brave enough to share it with us, we will be praying for you and what God is doing in your life. Okay? And remember that I love you, but Christ loves you more. All right? Thanks for listening.

Final Summary: SPIRITUALLY BRAVE & THE POWER TO CREATE

In this transformative episode of the Broken to Beautiful Podcast, host Jessica welcomes Kristen Wambach, a global authority on spiritual transformation and the host of the Interviewing Jesus Podcast. Drawing from 30 years of leadership and a journey she describes as "transformation on steroids," Kristen shares how a radical "yes" to Jesus shifts us from survival mode into divine creativity.
The conversation dives deep into the heart of Spiritually Brave living—the courageous act of believing God leads you into all truth, even when it exceeds your expectations or defies "religious" norms. Kristen unpacks the reality of disappointment, revealing that we often use our faith to build walls of self-preservation rather than bridges to our Healer.
Through a series of powerful testimonies—from a supernatural $800 provision for a young farm family to the restoration of a business through a simple bird feeder—Kristen demonstrates that God rewards movement. She teaches that restoration isn't just a destination we reach; it is a byproduct of the creative partnership we share with the Holy Spirit.
The episode concludes with a profound Sticky Note Activation, a practical tool designed to help listeners perceive the immediate voice of God and anchor heavenly records into their earthly reality.

Coaching Church Activations

ACTIVATION 1: THE "SUCK IT UP" SURRENDER
The Gate: From the Pew to the Pulpit In the transcript, we identified the internal mantra of "suck it up" as a barrier to divine intimacy. This activation requires the reader to identify where they are self-preserving instead of co-creating.
  • The Tape: Identify one area of your life where you have been "sucking it up" (finances, a strained relationship, or a health struggle).
  • The Anchor: "If you continue to suck it up, you aren't inviting Me in to help you deal with it."
  • The Activation: Write that struggle on a piece of paper. Instead of asking God to "fix it," ask: "Holy Spirit, how do you want to move in this space with me today?" Listen for a creative prompt—a phone call to make, a seed to sow, or a word to speak—and move on it within 24 hours.
ACTIVATION 2: THE THREE STICKY NOTES
The Gate: Heaven to Earth This is the "Diamond Pass" to perceiving the voice of God without the clutter of religious expectation. It anchors a heavenly record into an earthly reality.
  • The Tape: Spontaneous perception is the frequency of the Spirit.
  • The Anchor: "You have just taken a record from heaven and it is now on the earth."
  • The Activation: Close your eyes and envision three blank sticky notes under your "rearview mirror." Ask the Holy Spirit for three words—one for each note.
    1. Word 1: A word for your identity.
    2. Word 2: A word for your current transition.
    3. Word 3: A word for someone else.
  • The Move: Open your Notes app or a physical journal and record them immediately. Research the biblical definition of these words and speak them out loud to frame your atmosphere for the week.
ACTIVATION 3: THE HUMMINGBIRD PRINCIPLE (CREATIVE RESTORATION)
The Gate: The Hell of Lack to the Heaven of Abundance Restoration is often hidden in the "life skills" God wants us to learn. This activation focuses on the "Payoff-First" logic: seeing the blessing in the solution.
  • The Tape: If a solution serves your life, it has the potential to be a blessing to the world.
  • The Anchor: "Restoration comes when we create—it is the movement that God rewards."
  • The Activation: Identify a "pulley system" in your life—a simple solution you’ve created to make your own life easier or more beautiful.
    • The Question: How can this "personal solution" become a "public blessing"?
    • The Step: Document the process of your solution this week. Share the story of why you created it with one person. Watch how the frequency of restoration begins to move through that testimony.
ACTIVATION 4: THE SAFE SPACE ENCOUNTER
The Gate: The Hell of Trauma to the Beauty of Ashes This activation mimics the "Bonnie" story—taking the reader back to a place of perceived abandonment to find the "God behind the couch."
  • The Tape: You were never alone; the Healer was in the room before the hurt arrived.
  • The Anchor: "I don't have to have all the explanations... I just need to be willing to have the conversation."
  • The Activation: Sit in a quiet space for 10 minutes. Imagine a doorway. Step through it and ask Jesus to show you a memory where you felt most "unseen."
    • The Shift: Instead of looking at the pain, look for Him in the room. Where was He standing? What was He doing?
    • The Outcome: Allow the "Beauty for Ashes" exchange to happen in that memory. Write down the one thing He says to your "younger self" in that moment.

PRESS RELEASE
Acclaimed Author and Transformation Coach Kristen Wambach Joins "Broken to Beautiful" Podcast to Reveal the "Power to Create" and the Path to Spiritual Restoration
CORVALLIS, OR — Kristen Wambach, a global authority in spiritual transformation and investigative journalist of the spirit, recently joined the Broken to Beautiful podcast to share a radical perspective on moving from survival mode into divine creativity. In a soul-stirring conversation with host Jessica, Wambach detailed how a thirty-year journey of leadership and personal "transformation on steroids" has led to a mission of helping others "taste and see that the Lord is good."
The episode, titled "Harnessing the Power to Create," addresses the universal struggle of disappointment and the "suck it up" culture that often prevents true healing. Wambach, the host of the Interviewing Jesus Podcast, challenges listeners to live Spiritually BRAVE—a posture of believing that God leads into all truth, even when it transcends traditional religious boundaries.
"Restoration isn't just something that happens to us; it is something we participate in through movement," says Wambach. "God rewards movement, not fear. When we stop merely trying to survive our circumstances and start creating with the Holy Spirit, we bridge the gap between Heaven and Earth."
Key highlights from the episode include:
  • The "Suck It Up" Fallacy: How internalizing pain blocks the Holy Spirit from the healing process.
  • Restoration Through Creation: Real-life testimonies of how simple, creative solutions—like a backyard bird feeder—can spark global entrepreneurial restoration.
  • The Sticky Note Activation: A practical, sensory tool for listeners to perceive God’s voice and anchor heavenly records into their daily lives.
With over 200 podcast episodes and a highly anticipated book slated for release on April 1, 2026, Wambach continues to be a trusted voice for those seeking supernatural wisdom to rewrite their lives. Her "Beyond" posture in marketing prioritizes reverence over shock, offering a "safe path" for the reader’s heart through raw stories and simple, prayerful activations.

BEYOND THE THRESHOLD
x
I believe that the gap between Heaven and Earth is not a distance to be traveled, but a threshold to be crossed. My faith isn’t found in "stale bread" religion, but in a face-to-face, relational reality with a God who is better than our current bandwidth can imagine.
The Pillars of Our Experience:
  • The Restoration of All Things: I believe no story is too broken for the goodness of God. From the depths of the "Field of Blood" to the heights of the celestial courts, His heart is set on our complete wholeness.
  • The Safety of Belonging: For the Servant heart and the Mercy soul, I believe the Father is building a "Sure House"—a place where your unique design is celebrated, and your presence is essential to the family of God.
  • Redemptive DNA: I believe every person carries a God-inspired signature. By uncovering our Redemptive Gifts, we move from the "poverty of striving" into the wealthy identity of an heir.
  • Relational Discernment: I believe in a "Rhema" connection—a living, breathing conversation with Jesus that provides the supernatural wisdom to navigate our actual, messy lives.
I believe in the "Dangerous Hope" that shires up the GATES of our lives, ensuring that neither height nor depth can separate us from the love that first called us Spiritually BRAVE.
