Imagine spending decades searching for God in all the "sacred" places—backpacking through Europe, meditating on mountaintops, practicing yoga for 22 years, and even becoming a channeler for spirits. You think you are enlightened, but deep down, you are empty. Then, on April Fool's Day, you hear a voice over your shoulder ask one terrifying, liberating question:

This is the incredible testimony of my guest today, Dr. Laurette Willis. She is the founder of PraiseMoves®, the Christian alternative to yoga, and a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist who bridges the gap between biblical revelation and brain science.

The Hidden "Yoke" of Yoga
For many Christians, yoga is a gray area. It’s just stretching, right? Dr. Laurette challenges this cultural norm with compassion and clarity. As a former insider who spent 22 years in the New Age movement, she explains that "Yoga" is a Sanskrit word meaning "to yoke." The question we must ask is: To whom are we yoking ourselves?
During the interview, I shared my own experience of seeing into the spirit realm while a friend practiced yoga. I watched her spirit "open up" in a way that left her vulnerable. Dr. Laurette confirmed this, explaining that many poses are designed to be offerings to Hindu deities.

But God is a Redeemer. He doesn't want us to stop moving; He wants us to move with purpose. Dr. Laurette introduces us to PraiseMoves, where postures are "redeemed." Instead of emptying the mind (which creates a vacuum), we fill the mind with Scripture while moving the body. It’s not just fitness; it’s living, moving meditation.

Rewiring the Brain: The Science of "Renewing Your Mind"
This is where the episode takes a fascinating turn into "Quantum thinking." We often quote Romans 12:2 about renewing our minds, but Dr. Laurette explains the biology behind it. It’s called Neuroplasticity.
Your brain is not concrete; it’s clay. Every time you think a thought or crave a comfort food, you are carving a neural pathway. If you are stuck in cycles of anxiety or emotional eating, it’s because you have a "superhighway" built for that trauma.

Dr. Laurette walked us through a powerful tool called the "Pen Exercise." It uses bilateral brain stimulation (passing an object from hand to hand) combined with the declaration of 1 Corinthians 6:12 ("All things are lawful, but I will not be brought under the power of any"). By engaging both hemispheres of the brain while speaking Truth, you physically interrupt the craving circuit. It’s a "Holy Ghost brainwashing" that breaks the loop in seconds!
