Our Prayer: Pray with me, thank you God for that special insight, touch of strength, that you had already placed on the inside of me, like a sugar shaker, I receive that sweet pour into my life... Imagine your life as a delicate ballet, where each movement is carefully choreographed. Just as a dancer nurtures their body and spirit to perform gracefully, we too must cultivate our own self-care rituals to move harmoniously through the dance of life. Our Series Focus: Balance in your Life Women in particular need to keep an eye on their physical and mental health, because if we’re scurrying to and from appointments and errands, we don’t have a lot of time to take care of ourselves. We need to do a better job of putting ourselves higher on our own ‘to do’ list.” How important is Self Care? Self-care is a necessity. Self-care can be any activity that strengthens you physically, emotionally, mentally, intellectually, or spiritually. The concept of taking control of your needs and making yourself a priority might be viewed as selfish, but it is not. It leads to, Rejuvenation, Improved relationships, Reduced risk of illness, Better parenting, Increased self-esteem.
