Is the TV constantly on in your home? When you are alone, does your phone get your attention? If I asked you to look in your phone settings at screen time, what is your daily average? According to recent data, the average person spends around 2 hours and 23 minutes on social media daily. What would you do with an extra 2 hours and 23 minutes a day? I think we can all agree we can be better stewards of our time, amen. A few time-blocking hints. Set a do not disturb schedule on your phone and choose which notifications come through. Most phones have a downtime selection; limit applications and notifications. Block out particular times of the day to answer emails, and the big one: those activities that move the needle towards your dreams. For me, it's writing.
