I love the atmosphere we’ve created where we can relax and enjoy ourselves. Today is all about having a great time together. We’re going to lighten the mood and embrace a more focused mindset. Jesus is taking the wheel, guiding us to a fresh perspective. As we explore Colossians 3:1 in the Mirror Translation, think about seeing yourself with Christ. Reflect on this persuasion—what does it mean for you? It influences your conclusions in Him. You both have have your hands on the steering wheel, working in perfect harmony. Let’s shift our mindset and engage with the realities of the throne room, where you are united with Him at God’s right hand. I hear you, Kristen—what exactly is meant by throne room reality? We’ll dive into that shortly! I am so glad you are doing something for you, you're reading books listening to podcast. You are improving your self and what you're putting , your ears that is so awesome. Well done ! Practical Ways to Read the Road Map, We all know this! But do we all do this?
BINGE LISTEN
You belong to Him completely. It's akin to changing outfits; we shed our old garments and adorn ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Let me ask you again: do you keep these qualities to yourself? We often know we should get enough sleep, exercise, and eat well, but do you truly give yourself the care you deserve? Are you gentle and patient with yourself? Don't pray for patience, my grandma advised me. She said, "Kristen, never pray for patience; life has enough lessons as it is." Since then, I’ve refrained from praying for patience, as it’s something you cultivate within yourself through compassion and kindness. Consider the impact of those around you. What if your coworker neglects to ask how your day is going? It’s crucial to fill yourself with kindness and compassion during such moments. Remember the feeling of gripping the steering wheel, a reminder of connection with others as well as yourself. Maintain a positive outlook and uphold high expectations for yourself. Reflect on the importance of restoring fellowship with those around you. The Lord’s forgiveness has transformed our lives; think of the family and friends who may lack experience in these matters. Is there someone in your life—perhaps a child, spouse, or coworker—whom you need to restore favor with? Love should be worn like a uniform, completing our shared journey with Jesus. Imagine the four hands on the wheel guiding us. Some people may need a second chance, and Jesus certainly did that for me. Quickly restore those relationships. Let love be your uniform. Think practically: set a timer on your phone for when to go to bed or wake up. It’s so much easier to navigate life when you can visualize His hands on the wheel, guiding you every day. On those days when you feel you’ve done well, remember to affirm yourself. You might have had the chance to react negatively, but you held back, and that deserves recognition. It’s much easier to stay focused on our path when we can see His hands helping us along the way. What a joy that is!
I enjoy discussing practical matters, joking about ourselves while also taking a serious look at the daily choices we make. Are those choices truly serving you? Consider the metaphor of driving down the road: do you allow Jesus to guide you on your journey? Maybe it’s just about taking a leisurely drive and embracing affirmations and love. Let’s remind ourselves of what it means to dwell in a throne room reality and reflect on His original intentions for us. Picture yourself seated beside Him; that’s worth practicing and meditating on, asking Him for guidance. Amen. I truly love you and bless you immensely. It’s beautiful to envision this blessing radiating around the globe, touching you, your neighbors, your family, and those you love. We uplift each other, amen. Now, let me remind you of some practical tips again. Keep track of your screen time; this is essential for maintaining focus and setting priorities in our lives. If you need more time, simply turn your phone to do not disturb. I love you dearly, and I look forward to talking with you next week. x
