Picture this: a farmer standing in a golden field, the sun setting in a blaze of colors, reflecting off the ripening crops.
Each stalk, each grain, a testament to months of hard work, dedication, and faith.
Now, imagine that farmer is you. Your field might not be literal crops, but it’s the work you’ve poured your heart into—your projects, dreams, and goals.
What would happen if you didn't harvest the field?
Wildlife, varmints, rodents and bugs would soon move in and then you would really have a mess to clean up.

Here are some effective methods I use to affirm myself:

1. I create an audio recording of my affirmations, ensuring that it's always accessible whenever I need it.

Just a quick note: it's always there when needed.
We all encounter conflicts with those around us, especially with our spouses. Misunderstandings can hurt our feelings. Now, let's revisit some practical ways I affirm myself:
The Evernote app features an audio recorder, which I love. As an Evernote enthusiast, I've collected many excellent planners and templates through years of entrepreneurial experiences that help me maintain my sanity. Feel free to explore them in my store.
Additionally, your phone has a mic button in the text messaging app; you can record a message for yourself and save it!

1. Each time I experience an "aha" moment, I create a phone wallpaper. I've designed seven wallpapers ⬇︎ to kickstart your creativity and provided a link for you to make your own. Check the Show Notes.
2. Something that drives me crazy:
3. Instead of using negative phrases like "no," "don't do that," or "be quiet," I set an intention. For example, with my dog Dash, who has a chronic skin condition, instead of saying "no" repeatedly or using her name negatively, I say: "Wind and Fire, cease! Dash's redeeming DNA, arise!"

You might wonder why I reference wind and fire. Great question! These terms come from Chinese medicine, indicating the underlying causes of her issues—wind relates to itching, while fire signifies heat and irritation. By addressing the root cause with my words, I call forth healing through the work of Jesus. Pretty cool, right? I had to genuinely reflect on making this change, write it out, practice it, and integrate it into my life. The intent is infused with a frequency of peace.
This approach helps me avoid irritation because it is grounded in faith and hope.
Spiritual practices should be practical and easily implemented in your life. Amen.
