EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS
Hello, beautiful souls and brave entrepreneurs! Happy Thanksgiving! Welcome to another episode of the Interviewing Jesus podcast, where we combine spiritual insights with entrepreneurial guidance to help you flourish on your journey. Amen. I’m your host, Kristen Wambach, dedicated to encouraging you to live spiritually bold. Today, we have something special for Thanksgiving. I know many of you are on your way to family gatherings, perhaps wearing an apron as the turkey just comes out of the oven, or maybe you're quickly tidying up before guests arrive. There are countless reasons to celebrate, and I just wanted to take a moment to wish you a happy Thanksgiving. While I'm addressing my American listeners, let's remember that this spirit of gratitude, feasting, and togetherness is not solely an American tradition. Gratitude, help us to see what is there instead of what isn't.”— Annette Bridges
Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.” — William Arthur Ward 2. Chuseok in South Korea: This vibrant festival, often compared to Thanksgiving, occurs in September or October. Families gather to honor ancestors with feasts and traditional games. It’s a beautiful metaphor for the entrepreneurial journey—honoring past lessons while building future success. 3. Erntedankfest in Germany: Celebrated in early October, this harvest thanksgiving festival is marked by church services and processions. While it might not involve a grandiose family meal, it’s a moving reminder of the bounty life offers when we cultivate our passions diligently.
7. The Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot, is the third great annual pilgrimage festival when the Jewish people gather together in Jerusalem not only to remember God's provision in the Wilderness but also to look ahead to that promised Messianic age when all nations will flow to Jerusalem to worship the Lord. This week-long festival in September or October commemorates the gathering of the harvest and the protection God provided during the Israelites’ exodus. Building temporary shelters, or sukkahs, is a tradition, reminding us of the impermanence of life and the need to be adaptable. Each of these celebrations, in their own way, teaches us about gratitude, the importance of community, and the joy of sharing our abundance. Today we cherish the harvest of our efforts, these globally celebrated days invite us to pause and reflect. They remind us that, no matter where we are, the spirit of thanksgiving is universal, urging us to appreciate the journey and the company we keep along the way. It's a cherished moment spent around the table with loved ones, sharing stories and celebrating the abundance of life. We count our blessings and take a moment for introspection, recognizing how far we have come. With that, I say amen, and without further ado, let’s proceed to today’s episode. I had the rare privilege of sitting down with someone truly remarkable—a person whose life exemplifies love, compassion, and transformative leadership. Who better to embody these virtues than the one and only Jesus? In casual conversations, people often say that we are metaphorically sitting down with Jesus, reflecting on what he might share if he were to join your Thanksgiving gathering. I haven't expressed enough how much I appreciate 💋you, especially during this holiday season when you're taking the time to listen. I know you have a lot on your plate, and I truly value your dedication to filling your mind with positivity and opportunities for growth. I admire ❤️ that about you and want to give you a virtual high ✋five, encouraging you to keep pushing forward! Our Prayer of Gratitude & CommunionAs we approach the conclusion of today's gathering, I invite you to join me in communion. Shall we take a moment to pray? Feel free to stir the gravy while I lead us in gratitude. Let us come together around this table of abundance, connecting in spirit through this podcast, thankful for one another—our table is full. We pause to recognize the numerous blessings that fill our lives, both visible and invisible, like the sun that rises without fail each day. Thankfulness serves as a guiding light, illuminating our every moment. We express our gratitude for the food before us, for the hands that prepared it, and for the soil that nurtured its growth. This communion nourishes not just our bodies but our spirits, reminding us of the interconnectedness of all life. In this moment, we unite, just as these ingredients blend to create something greater. May we come together in purpose and joy, embracing the love that surrounds us through family, friends, and community. BINGE LISTEN...
I am deeply thankful to God for this podcast and the airwaves that connect us, celebrating the love we share today. This love is a unique thread woven into the fabric of our divine existence, adding color and strength to our collective journey. Let us cherish and honor one another, recognizing the divine spark within each of us. As we hold space for those who may not be as fortunate, let’s send out waves of compassion and support. Open your heart; let us be vessels of kindness and generosity, transforming our gratitude into actions that uplift those in need. In this communion of blessings, we remember that our lives showcase the potential within us. We face each challenge and triumph as opportunities to grow, learn, and serve with open hearts and hands. Thank you for this moment; let us prepare our hearts.
This is a picture of three of them. At this time we were leasing a 6000 sq. ft. home here in Corvallis. During the days of starting and running a ministry school and the birth of Heart of the Valley Community Church. On our to do list own a home/venue. We love hospitality and Christmas. Make sure you click over to 25 Days of Christmas and you will see more of this same heart. Also I invite you to one of my Instagram accounts, there are clips of my decorating. Now to this weeks quest question: What would you talk about the most in a one-hour therapy session? That is a toss up? I've been married for almost 40 years, I'm sure between Don and myself we could use up a little couch time, LOL. But to be honest, influence and friends. On the journey of "changing the world" you don't run across like minded individuals with the same level of passion and commitment. I have some very dear long term friends that I wouldn't trade for the world, but put me in a room full of passionate entrepreneurs, OMG! It's a season of expanding my tent pegs, amen. As we take the bread, we remember the cross, acknowledging that your sacrifice and resurrection grant us victory over sickness, disease, and emotional stress. We partake in the new covenant, inviting its life-giving energy to fill us with joy, peace, health, and tangible love. Thank you for this day and the infinite possibilities it holds. Amen. To quote Jesus, “Each moment you’re given is a gift; cherish it.” Share love as you would break bread, embracing joy as we conclude our time together. As you embark on your day or perhaps unwind in the evening with your feet up and a glass of wine, I want to express my gratitude to you, my listeners, for your presence in this community--the Interviewing Jesus podcast. It’s a blessing to have you with us, whether you're tuned in from your car, kitchen, cozy couch, or while in your pajamas. Your participation enriches our tribe, and I appreciate you pulling up your chair to our table. I am also thankful for the family and friends who gather with us, whether in spirit or in person, and for the provisions that grace our table. Each shared meal is a testament to the abundance of God and the universe, reflecting the love that binds us together. As we celebrate this day, perhaps Thanksgiving, let us embrace every moment, cherish every laugh, and hold dear every hug. Each moment you're given is a gift. x
